The Barn at The Horse Motel

Escape to a charming barn apartment, where rustic Western charm meets modern comfort. Relax in the spacious living room, perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. The fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances and a large breakfast bar makes meal prep a breeze. The master bedroom offers a queen-size bed, walk-in closet, and private bathroom, with an additional queen bed available in the living room for extra guests. Traveling with little ones? A crib, pack-n-play, or air mattress can be provided.

For those with equine companions, the back door leads directly to spacious 12' x 12' stalls, each equipped with a hay rack, water bucket, feed trough, and individual light and fan. Even without "fur babies," this peaceful countryside retreat is ideal for a romantic getaway or a break from city life.

Enjoy Wi-Fi, Fire TV, and a DVD player (please note Wi-Fi is via satellite and can be intermittent due to weather. NO refunds will be given for down time).

Embrace the authentic farm experience, including horses, cows, chickens and pigs. (Please note that this is a working farm and there will be outdoor smells of horses, cows, chickens and pigs. Please do not give us less than 5 stars because you don’t like animals or the smell of the animals.)

You'll have private access to the entire apartment and are welcome to explore the property.

The property was beautiful and very well decorated. The only issue was the beds. They were not comfortable at all. Barely got 3 hours of sleep because of it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your honest feedback regarding the beds. I am truly sorry to hear that the firmness of the bed wasn't to your personal liking. We have worked hard to maintain our Superhost status over the past three years, and this is the first time we've received specific feedback about the beds being uncomfortable. We understand that mattress firmness is a deeply personal preference, and we regret that this one element made such a significant impact on your overall experience, leading to the 6/10 rating. We always strive for a 5-star stay, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will certainly keep this in mind as we evaluate future bedding upgrades.

We have stayed in many vacation properties, and my husband and I were completely WOWED! The photos and video were lovely but the they did not capture the absolute perfection of the property. I was still noticing wonderful little details three days into our stay! The peace and quiet, comfort, and overall relaxing environment was exactly what we needed to unwind. We strolled around the farm and enjoyed the fresh air while surrounded by nature's beauty. We were also able to meet the many adorable animals that live on the farm as well. The hosts were friendly, kind, and invested in making sure that we had everything we needed. We even had a meet and greet-facilited by our hostess- with their two gorgeous horses, Wesley and Ani! Not to be forgotten: it was an incredible value for the money as well. It was difficult to leave and get back to the rat race, but we are very excited to go back and stay!
