Hard to tell you about a stay in a place where the host never responded. I tried various times leading up to the day of check in. At the same time i was also contacting VRBO customer service, whom were unable to do anything until the time of check in (2pm). By the time i landed in the city (3pm) i had still not heard anything. Customer service then kind of started taking me seriously, but not before telling me to go to the location of where the VRBO was supposed to be...no thank you. After letting 2 customer service reps try to call host with no success THEN they decided they would help me cancel the reservation. No help with rebooking or finding another place but at the point i was so upset with the back and forth that i just wanted my money back. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!

Host never sent check in instructions or any other communication. Would not respond to me or VRBO. Phone number to contact them was disconnected. Was stuck with nowhere to stay and had to find alternate accommodations after the arranged check in time. Horrible host should be banned from ever renting out a space again.

We actually never were able to check into this property. When I had not heard from the host within a day of the booking, I contacted her for information about how to access the property. When I did not hear back, I called VRBO to get assistance. They also had no response from the host and told me that if I had not heard from her by morning, they would help me rebook something. Approximately mid-night a message was left for me stating that due to "unforeseen circumstances" the rental was not available. BTW, VRBO did not help me rebook, but gave me instructions on how to create a new booking. They noted that I would have a full refund for the original booking and that there would be additional funds available to me to help defray the costs of a more expensive property. I was able to find something suitable, luckily, because it was entirely last minute.
