Exceptional Experience

We booked our stay at the Emberwood through Roots & Realms Retreats. We were simply blown away by the incredible attention to detail, cleanliness, and exceptional experience this place (and hosts!) provides. From plush bathrobes to oversized towels, soft and comfy blankets, to beautiful pillows and lovely furniture. The inside was a perfect, cozy haven to relax, unwind, and simply “just be”. The outside amenities were top-notch, too! From soaking in the hot-tub, to enjoying the hot sauna and rinsing off in the outdoor shower. We did not get the chance to enjoy the outdoor lounge due to weather, but thoroughly appreciated the dome, and being able to feel immersed in nature. Our stay at Emberwood was the perfect opportunity we needed to detach from our daily lives and simply reconnect with one other. It couldn’t have been more perfect to relax at and to celebrate our 15yr wedding anniversary. Thank you Kevin and Amanda for creating such a special place and for sharing it with others!

Perfect escape/getaway!!! Beautiful surroundings, beautiful decor and super clean. The home has everything available if you never want to leave the premises. Hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, fire pit, grill and Zen Den made this an easy decision to book. 5 Stars
