We were initially a bit disappointed by the place but grew to like it a lot. The neighborhood is working-middle class residential. Quiet. The apartment is like in the pictures — a big room with windows on two sides and a sofa facing a TV plus a kitchen/laundry area and bathroom. You go in via a door on a busy street and upstairs. When we arrived, there was laundry left in the washer and dryer by the cleaner. Some little touches were missing - hand soap was empty and we refilled it with soap we found under the sink. No coffee or tea provided. Also, we ran out of toilet paper the first night and had to buy some before the cleaner came back to put some out. The responses to messages appeared to be automated, but someone did relay the TP shortage. The AC is a big machine in the room with a hose to the window. It worked well enough. We used the bus and a car to get into the center of Quebec, which is very close by vehicle but far by foot.

Add showed heat pumps in the photos. This was not the case, there was a floor model ac unit that took almost 24 hours to cool down unit. We arrived to a dryer running with every piece of extra bedding and towels in it. When asked host about this he just suggested putting it away when done. It was too wet to even dry in the dryer and was leaking water on the floor. We had to remove from dryer and dry it out ourselves. No bath towels which host did eventually get to us. Dishes were not cleaned well, basically washed anything needed before using them. Internet was very spotty, used personal hotspot more often. Parking spot was nice, easy to get in and out of secure building. Would have liked to have a latch inside unit to prevent anyone from entering with code given to us while there. Washed out bedding ourselves because it didn’t smell clean. Did not receive any real support from host. After initial day and complaints it wasn’t too bad, but we basically just had to fix any issues we had ourselves.
