Discover the perfect blend of adventure and serenity at Shotski’s Lodge, a newly built mountain-modern cabin located just 100 yards from the Heading Home ski run. Whether you're skiing in winter or biking in summer, this cabin offers ski-in/ski-out and bike-in/bike-out access. Nestled among towering trees, it is common to spot deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife right from the deck.

This secluded retreat is designed for families, friends, and nature lovers looking to relax in style while being immersed in the wilderness.

• Primary Access: Ski directly from the cabin to the Heading Home run
• Backup Option: Short 2-minute drive to El Camino drop-off area if ski-out isn’t available due to snow conditions

🔒 Safety & Security
For your peace of mind and to ensure the property is guest-ready, a Ring floodlight camera is mounted on the exterior of the cabin. It is used only to confirm arrival of maintenance or cleaning crews.

Beautiful views! Peaceful!

My husband and I just wanted to get away for a few days and this was the perfect place. Quiet and beautiful. The sunsets were spectacular and watching the deer come visit every evening was a nice surprise.

Great cabin in the woods!

Luke is a great host and we really enjoyed staying at this cabin. Everything was as advertised and the communication from Luke was fantastic! We had no issues during our stay. We will look forward to staying again!

Perfect get-away

Cannot express how lovely this house is. Perfectly secluded location, clean, well-stocked, great communication with house managers.... My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary with our pups. Lots of nice peaceful walks and beautiful sunsets. We will be back!

Perfect family getaway

My family and I had a great weekend in Angel Fire staying in this property. The hot tub was hot and ready after our days skiing. The ski in/ski out was manageable and easier than driving down the mountain. The home was stocked with nice toilet paper and paper towels. Sometimes, it’s the little things! It was nice not to have to think about things like spices and dishwashing liquid. Our boys loved all the games. Highly recommend!

Quiet and beautiful!

The location of this house is set up high in the mountains so the views are so beautiful! The house was perfect for my family of 5 and our friends who stayed with us a few of the days. The kitchen was excellent and it was such a nice surprise to have so many staples already in the home. We would definitely stay here again and again when we visit angel fire again to mountain bike or ski!

Modern Mountain Cabin

This was a beautiful property with amazing views. Everything was fully stocked and ready for our visit. We loved playing games, doing puzzles and sitting in the hot tub at night. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Seclusion on the Slopes

If you want to escape the crowds found at the base of Angel Fire, this place is excellent. Ski-in/out works perfectly. The property is great for all ages; our grandkids enjoyed all the games offered, the parentals enjoyed the fireplace.

Perfect home and location!

This home was the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed at, out of many! The location was gorgeous and private with endless opportunities to explore. The house had everything you could want, and then some. Hosts were VERY responsive to our questions. Big snow the day we left, wish we could have stayed longer!

Great property!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful cabin with a great view. They have stocked it with everything you could need. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of mountain biking. The biking trails were great and it was great to be able to bike in and out to the trails from the cabin. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Mountain Retreat

We loved staying here! It was secluded and a beautiful location. We saw deer regularly from the balcony. The property manager was very responsive about any issues or questions we had. The house is tastefully decorated. The kids (and adults) had fun with all the games, shuffleboard and foosball. Make sure you don’t leave food in your car, we did have a bear come visit one night.

Great ski cabin

We loved this cabin! Beautiful and just the right size for a small family. We were able to ski in and ski out to "Headin' Home" which made the weekend very convenient. The hosts were extremely communicative and helpful even though we stayed through Christmas Eve. They were attentive via text, everything was provided and clean and ready to go when we arrived. Thanks for a great stay, we'll definately come again!

Peaceful Forest Getaway

This is the location if you are looking for a peaceful place above the tree line. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Evenings in the hot tub amongst the stars were incredible. Sitings of deer, elk, and turkeys were a common daily experience in this location. I highly recommend this location and property.

What a gem!

I would highly recommend this place! Beautiful, secluded, clean and a postcard view everywhere you look! Property owner was courteous and on top it. He checked in with us a couple of times but honestly, he had everything covered!

Great location

Small walk to slope. Beautiful. Pictures are exactly like the property. Approx 20 drive up the mountain. Our party was 7 and it was a perfect fit for us.
