この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
Within a half-mile of the house, you’re really in the thick of Round Top’s wooded charm—it’s a quiet, rural stretch dotted with cabins, family homes, and the occasional deer crossing the road. You won’t find sidewalks or streetlights, but you will get a real sense of peace and privacy. Most neighbors are weekenders from the city or long-time locals who keep to themselves but are friendly if you wave. It feels super safe—more “leave your doors unlocked” than “lock up the bikes.” And speaking of bikes, Round Top is home to some of the best mountain biking trails in New York State, with top-rated singletrack nearby—and even winter biking routes when the snow hits. You’re also close to hiking trails like those near Glen Falls and Reidelbauer’s, and on summer weekends, you might hear a bit of music or laughter drifting from local spots like Crystal Brook Resort or the Riedlbauer’s grounds. Otherwise, it’s just forest, birdsong, and mountain air.
