The check in was difficult. The address was to a place an hour away on Google maps, so we went an hour out of our way through LA. It was not necessarily the host fault, however if we would have just had the building address in the first place it would have been much easier. You have to meet a lady in a parking lot around the corner from the actual property and follow her to the apartment building. On the listing it says one secure parking spot. Upon arrival we were notified the previous guest took the parking garage remote with them and they were working on retrieving it. We were told to contact the host around 10 pm if we didn't get the remote. We started trying to contact the host around 8pm to see what the backup plan was for parking. There is no parking at night on the street the building is on, so we had no idea where to go. We were again told they were trying to retreive the remote. We had no idea where to go and the host stopped answering. After driving around trying to figure out where to park at 10pm, we ended up talking to somelse in the building and he let us in the parking garage. Then once we got in we realized the designated spot was for compact cars only. We had a Ford Expedition that was near impossible to fit. This should have been communicated ahead of time. Then we went through the same thing the next night. I understand the previous guest took the remote, however the host should come up with a backup plan. The place was clean & nice, except the fridge.
