Our charming three-bedroom, two-bathroom home near the scenic Herb River offers fresh updates and easy access to a dock and river. With a fully stocked kitchen and a bedroom featuring double bunk beds, it's perfect for families eager to create sweet Savannah memories! Located just 8.5 miles from downtown Savannah and a scenic 30-minute drive to beautiful Tybee Island, you'll enjoy everything this delightful area has to offer. We provide professional photos and real-time images from our cleaning team, so you know exactly what to expect.

Welcome to Savannah! Guests will need to navigate a small set of stairs to enter our home through the front door. Once inside our living room with a queen sleeper sofa and a large flat-screen TV complete with Roku is the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. The dining room is connected to both the living room and the kitchen. It has an oversized farmhouse-style table with benches and chairs. This table easily seats eight adults comfortably. Our fully stocked kitchen has stainless steel appliances and all the essential comforts of home to help you get settled. Bedroom one has a king-size bed and an additional flat-screen TV with Roku. Bedroom two is generously sized with a full-size bed. Bedroom #3 is perfect for the kids! With two twins over full bunk beds, you can comfortably sleep six kids in this room! A laundry room, as well as two full bathrooms round out our comfy Savannah home. Gather your family (pets are welcome too) and start making some memories! For dock access, walk across the street. There is a little parking lot with a Patriot Family Homes sign between the condos and the orange duplex. By the water, there is a metal gate leading to a long double decker dock. Please fill out the dock waiver to receive the gate code. We have a community game area with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more! With easy access to everything that makes Savannah so charming, you will find yourself right at home in our sweet southern retreat! Please feel free to inquire about our other properties for larger groups or multiple families as part of the "Retro Rainbow." Pets welcome with fee.

Place was nice. We did not end up getting access to the dock as no one answered or returned our message or call. Place was clean. They only give you seven towels, even though capacity is 12 so we had to get some delivered. Water pressure isn't great (one of the sinks does a tiny bit more than drip when turned on). Beds were comfy. Wasn't anything too crazy but good for the price.

Before our booking, they were communicative. Once they had our payments, their responses came to a halt, which was disappointing. The place itself was decent. Its proximity to the Historic District was convenient, only a 20-minute drive in. The check-in process was easy. Since they use an automated service, those messages came through fine. The listing says the place sleeps 12, but they only gave us 7 towels, then ignored our repeated requests for towels for the rest of us. The Wi-Fi connected to the router with the password they gave us, but it had no Internet service. Again, they ignored our requests to fix the Wi-Fi for the evenings we weren't out. The neighbors were insanely loud, revving their engines until 1:30 in the morning, hollering, etc. That may not be the fault of the property owner, but it added to our distress over the place.

Solid choice!

First time staying in a vrbo, really enjoyed the stay. House was older, but nicely updated with a good price! Had a few minor plumbing issues- leaking toilet, low water pressure but quick response to issues from the host. Good location, just a short drive to all savannah had to offer!

Family Thanksgiving

This is our second family Thanksgiving in a Patriot Family Home on the same street. The home was clean, roomy and just right for our family of four adults. The check in/out process was easy; the property manager was responsive and helpful. Great location. We will stay here again.

GS Troop Visit to Savannah

This was a great location for our Girl Scout troop to stay during our visit to Savannah. We were a group of 3 adults and 8 teens. While the house is small, we never felt crowded and the hot water seemed endless for all the showers after a long day walking around in the humidity. The beds were super comfy and the long table with benches was perfect for meals. The extra large tv in the living room was awesome too. 17 minutes to downtown Savannah so location was great. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. We would stay here again!

Great St Patrick’s Stay

We had a great weekend celebrating St Patrick’s in this lovely house. We played corn hole and horse shoes across from the house. The volleyball net is in unusable condition but the court was maintained nicely (we’re both competitive volleyball players). The house was decorated very cute and was very inviting! We were able to drive downtown or catch an Uber very easily.

Not what you think from the pictures

The steps NEED a handrail. They are unsafe for anyone staying there from the youngest 7 to the oldest 91. We all had a hard time with the steps. There were bugs coming up the drain in the shower. The fridge wasn't state of the art. There were only 4 forks in the drawer. We were unable to use the dock because we couldn't get the lock unlocked. The net on the volleyball net needs to be replaced; but it could have been from the hurricane. There were plenty of towels for everyone in the house. When I reached out to ask questions the team got back in a timely manner. There were a lot of plates, cups, and spoons.

Enjoyable group stay

Mgt company maintained timely communication. We did not get the address until less than a week out. Understandable for security purposes, but at the same time we had to fill out paperwork for Girl Scout travel and asked for it in advance, which was denied. The coffee pot broke/started leaking and a new one was delivered early the next morning. Also, similar service for more towels. House is in a compound-type area with other homes owned/managed by the same company. It was quiet and safe. Shared volleyball court, covered shelter, and trash dumpsters. The washer and dryer was a plus, as was the long dining table. Definitely lacking in silverware and cups/glasses for the number of people they say the house sleeps. Need a larger skillet pan and stock pot. Livingroom is small/limited seating for a larger group, but good otherwise. The tiled shower needs cleaned and degrimed and grout cleaned up. Overall, our GS troop of pretweens and leaders enjoyed the stay.
