I stayed for 6 nights. When I arrived Monica & Juan Carlos didn't have any other guests so I had my choice of rooms. I took the room that is a small, separated unit with a private bath. Like most houses in Mexico, the water heater is on-demand, but it is very fast to heat up enough water for a shower. The room was absolutely beautiful, and has a small coffee pot provided so you don't have to unglue your eyes enough to get up to main house before coffee (a big plus for me). The kitchen is spacious and well-designed. I was pretty busy so I didn't take full advantage of it, but it's really fun to cook in.
The location is quiet, set close to beach but away from bigger hotels and the noise of downtown, include the ever-present Friday night parties. That said, it's a short walk to the beginning of the Malecon and the supermarket in the other direction, so you're close everything you need and want.
In summary, I would definitely stay here again. It's great.
