Great Cabin on the lake

Very nice place to stay right on lake with lift for jet ski and boat. Close to everything northern Michigan has to offer. Cabin was clean and comfortable we would definitely rent again.

Lakefront living

Great lakefront property! We really enjoyed our stay - easy to zip into East Jordan and less than 15 min drive into Charlevoix for dinner or shopping. Sunrise over the lake was just beautiful - perfect spot for family vacay!

Wonderful vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The yard was perfect for bonfires and relaxing. My family made wonderful memories. Excellent experience!

Wonderful lake vacation

We had a wonderful vacation at this lake cabin. The cabin is very charming, clean and well stocked. We enjoyed swimming off of the dock. Debra was easy to communicate with & it was a pleasure staying here. I highly recommend it.

Charming Lake Cottage

What a fabulous stay we had at the absolutely charming lakefront home! The home and property were as lovely as pictured, if not more so, and it is impeccably cared for by the owners. Laura was a wonderful, thoughtful host. We can’t wait to come back!

Great week

The cabin was very clean and well equipped. Had everything we needed. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. We really liked our stay, catching fish and swimming. Many fish were caught right off the dock. Would love to go back.

Week on lake Charlevoix

The property and rental was exactly as advertised. It was clean and well appointed with everything needed. We greatly enjoyed our stay as a family on lake Charlevoix! Debra was very responsive and we had no issues or concerns whatsoever. We would love to return on our next up north vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

True Up North Gem

Our stay at the cottage was excellent. Everything was as described with many amenities that made it very welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was small but had a lot of storage for all of our things. The outside areas were where we spent most of our time. The kids had fun with the kayaks and we enjoyed several campfires and dinners off the grill.

Wonderful Stay

Our family really enjoyed this warm and cozy log cottage/home. We also rented the bunkhouse for additional sleeping, both of which were very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. Cottage contained everything needed for our stay. We enjoyed use of the kayaks, boat and jet ski hoist, campfires near the water and tiki shed. The extra refrigerator with freezer really came in handy. Sitting on the dock or using the nice hammock for reading was very enjoyable. The owner, Debra, was easy to reach and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property for vacation on beautiful Lake Charlevoix!

Cottage on Lake Charlevoix

We had a Great Week. Great location on the Lake . Close to East Jordan and Charlevoix and of course Ironton. Really good restaurant there , the Landings. Would recommend. The Cottage is very nice and clean. Nice fire pit. Really nice dock and boat hoist. Fished off the dock a lot and used our boat. Beautiful Lake to swim and tube . The property was everything the property owner had said and even more . Would recommend this property to anyone. I look forward to returning next summer. Also check out the Dairy Grille in EJ and Charlevoix for those Ice Cream lovers. Debbie, property owner, was very pleasant and available with questions before and during our stay.

Great stay on Lake Charlevoix

Looking for a lakefront cabin on Lake Charlevoix? This is a great one to consider. Updated, clean and cozy cabin with a place to keep your boat, this place checks the boxes. Owner was quick to respond and took extra time to make sure everything was in good order for our stay. Kitchen was stocked, paper products were plentiful, bathroom had tons of towels, and firewood was also available for our use. (We've rented places before and have had to supply everything. This was a major plus for us.) Tiki bar with fridge was a fun extra and perfect for a lakeside vacation. We didn't use the extra garage space, but would certainly consider it if we came up with another family. Overall, a great place to stay.

Spectacular home with a prime location

We had an amazing stay at Debra's home. It was conveniently located nearby all the places we wanted to spend time, and we also got to enjoy being on the dock and directly on the lake. There aren't words for how restorative that was. We appreciated the coziness of the home and the option to add on the garage unit if needed. The home is in excellent condition, and it hearkens back to it's historical roots. There are thoughtful touches around such as the cozy "furs" on the dining benches, a nightlight, blankets and pillows for cuddling up, LOTS of outdoor nooks to converse and read, and so much more. My family plans on coming back in the future. Debra was also a delight to work with and communicated in the friendly way that I've experienced with everyone in the area. I felt like we were borrowing a house from a friend for the week. I'm so glad we chose to go with this property for our family get together!

Amazing Vacation/Property

This rental has everything you need so you can just unload your car and start relaxing and having fun. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and has all appliances you would use at your own home. Plenty of chairs and eating spaces inside and out. Very pretty landscaping. Beds are very comfy and large. The four of us had plenty of space. We all fought over who was going to take a nap in the hammock in the shade, placed in their beautiful garden. We took our boat and the boat station and pier was perfect for it. One thing to check before going is the water level as it is high this year so there wasn't any beach area BUT bring some water floats and water noodles and just float/swim right in front of the house. Their shed was perfect to store all your toys and the extra refrigerator was perfect in there. The town of Charlevoix is a lot of fun and great restaurants and things to do. The street they are on is very quiet. Firepit was perfect right near the lake and wood is provided. The owners were great to communicate with. There is a grocery store right in town but I learned to get most of my stuff needed at Dollar General before heading to the main grocery store because it is a lot cheaper. We highly recommend this place. Lots of sun, fun and relaxing.

Perfect summer getaway

Debra's cabin was exactly as described and fit the bill for a relaxing week on the lake. Close to town but tucked back from M-66 so you don't have the loud road noise. The cabin was clean and had everything you need for your stay. Great communication leading up to check-in and again at check-out. I hope to stay again next summer!

UpNorth Lakefront Perfection

This cabin has a rustic feel with all of the amenities that one could possibly need for a lakeside retreat! The charming décor reminds you of a cottage from a Hallmark film. The picturesque view from the large window was a beautiful morning greeting and provided the perfect setting for meals, conversations, and making family memories. This place had every accommodation that you could imagine, from a “Tiki” shed for extra food and beverage storage, a boat lift for water adventures, and a stockpile of firewood for peaceful evening fires by the lake. The location is convenient, being minutes from the town of East Jordan (groceries, gas, etc.) and a short drive to the town of Charlevoix. If you are a boater, you are also close proximity to shopper’s docks in four different lake towns and even a great waterfront restaurant! And to top it off, the host has gone to every effort to ensure her guests truly enjoy a relaxing retreat. In addition to all of the accommodations, Debra was available by text or phone for any questions or concerns. This is the place to make family memories that you will cherish for years to come. We hope to return and make more ourselves.

Charming, well-maintained property in a great location

This cabin has the cozy charm that's becoming harder to find on Lake Charlevoix, and it was also impressively clean and well cared for. The owners were very accessible with communication, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Linens were clean, bathrooms also, and the kitchen and appliances were in great shape. While we expected some rustic-ness from a log cabin, but there really wasn't any to speak of. The windows even all opened, and despite 90-degree days, the breeze through the open windows kept us cool at night. Also, the lake is beautiful here and the bottom was sandy for swimming. We spent an entire week here and rarely left the place, it was so comfortable. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay right on the lake. The South Arm is quiet and warm!
