Welcome to Coastal Breeze! Your charming Ocean-View Cottage Steps from Downtown in the Wolds Smallest Harbor.

Enjoy vintage coastal charm and modern comfort in this beautifully restored 1940s Depoe Bay cottage. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and whale watching, this cozy two-bedroom home features stunning ocean views from a rooftop deck, reclaimed hardwood floors from a once thriving local mill, and thoughtful touches throughout. This house is great for a quick get away trip to enjoy the coast or for a month or two long stay for work.

Unwind in the inviting living room with an electric fireplace, flatscreen RokuTV, DVDs, books, and board games. The bright, fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, plenty of cookware, and a six-person dining table—perfect for shared meals after a day by the sea.

Both bedrooms feature new queen mattresses and cozy quilts, with an electric fireplace in each bedroom for added warmth. Additional guests can use the sleeper sofa in the living room. Two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer ensure comfort and convenience.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the west facing front porch/ east facing back porch deck or head up to the rooftop deck to spot whales and take in epic sunset views when the day winds down. You'll also have WiFi, cable, and street parking in the front of the cottage for two vehicles.

This was a beautifully decorated home with everything we needed. It was close to downtown and whale watching. Very enjoyable!

The house is an older two bedroom, 1-3/4 bath. It is a charming little beach house with a great location. I will start by getting the unpleasantries out of the way. Despite the clean appearance of the house, there were ant traps on the windowsill of the kitchen window thankfully with no ants to be seen. Although, there were a lot of flies in each room. I killed many in my couple of days at the house, but always found more. This is the reason why my cleanliness rating is low. Though the house has charm, time has taken its toll despite remodeling. There are some areas that need work. That and some of the livingroom lamps and the DVD player wouldn't turn on. Then the main bathroom sink drain wouldn't open. This is why I also rated the daily value a little lower.The master bed was comfortable, and I imagine the guest bed was as well. My two younger children didn't complain about it, just about each other. The couch bed was described to me as "hard as a rock" by my oldest child. But, anyone who has ever slept on a couch bed knows it's a gamble wherever you go.Overall, despite the unfortunate downsides that I mentioned, I enjoyed the stay. The house was warm, inviting, and cozy. The view from atop the garage deck was amazing and if it were a bit warmer I would've likely spent more time up there.I would recommend this house for a night or two for anyone stopping in Depoe Bay.
