This is a perfect home for a family beach weekend or vacation. Lots of space, a well equipped kitchen and a perfect location near the beach and all the fun, make this charming home the answer to our needs. We walked everywhere all weekend. The weather cooperated too, which is always a plus!

Excellent location just 1.5 blocks from the entry to Seabright beach and a 10 min walk to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Homey feel, very clean and well appointed. Nice outdoor patio with seating area and grill. Large first floor with spacious living room, dining area, and eat in kitchen. Upstairs has a large main bedroom, a smaller 2nd bedroom with a double, and a third room with 2 twins and a crib.

This was a fantastic place for our family trip to Santa Cruz. The location couldn’t be better—easy access to the beach, restaurants, and attractions. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed and very comfortable for a family of four. We felt right at home and would absolutely come back!

Over all the place was clean, although underwear from a previous guest was found under one of the beds and some of the outside trash cans were full even though we checked in on the evening after garbage pickup. Bath mats would be useful as the floor can be slippery. Location and proximity to attractions is great.All the bedrooms and showers are up stairs so, this should be considered if a guest has trouble with stairs.

The location was great and the home was spacious! The Internet and electronics (TV’s and Cable boxes) are really outdated though and caused issues. The Internet randomly disconnects very frequently and then you have to reset the box for 5 min and try to reconnect to Xfinity. Eventually the cable stopped working all together which kept us from watching a football game we all wanted to watch. The upstairs TV is just as bad. Besides the Internet/TV issues, the home is nice. There are a few lights that don’t work but that’s ok. The beach is only like 1 min away walking distance so that’s awesome!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is excellent. The house is spacious. But the property is old, the carpet is stained and the whole house smells musty. There were cobwebs on top of the fridge. We were unable to get the tvs to work. The management company was closed for the day, couldn’t give advice over the phone . Their solution to fix it next day. The mattresses were saggy and uncomfortable ! I travel a lot and this was the worst place I have ever stayed at, the pictures do not reflect reality. If you plan on being at the beach your whole stay , go for it, but don’t expect a comfortable stay.

Easy walk to both Seabright beach and the Boardwalk. Plenty of space for a family of 6. Would stay here again.

Great Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful time in Santa Cruz! The location of the rental was perfect. Close to downtown, Capitola, the Boardwalk and best of all, the beach!

Daughter’s Wedding in Santa Cruz

We came for my Daughter’s Wedding in town. Since she was the Bride I gave her the Master bedroom. The AirrBnB was clean and well supplied. Loved the big kitchen and the quaint back patio. Lovely place to stay!

Steps from the beach

House is in a great location just half a block from the beach on a quiet street. Host was helpful in answering questions. Very sweet little natural history museum right around the corner. Would recommend for families with children!

The house was in a great location, clean, cozy well stocked with adequate parking on site and on the street. Easy beach access. The front door was extremely difficult to lock and unlock. There was a small hole, with an outlet/plug, on the floor in the Living room which caused pain to one of the guests when they stood on it. Seems it should be covered somehow.

Needs deep cleaning & repair

Location fantastic. House is generally good. Large, great for a family stay. Very, very, very much in need of a thorough cleaning: door knobs, area around corners light switches, walls all very dirty. Truly with a bit of maintenance, solid, extensive deep cleaning would be an outstanding house.

Even walking to downtown was an easy 25 minute walk along an easy walking path that overlooked a canal. Could not ask for a better location. The house, as mentioned in previous comments, could do with some updating, but did not affect the stay in the least. Kitchen was fully equipped, and there was plenty of room for four adults and two children! Could not be happier with the stay!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was situated close to the beaches and restaurants were within walking distance. However the interior of the property was in need of som TLC. Carpets and upholstery were stained. TV had streaming services and worked well.

Needs basic maintenance (not just updating)

I had read the place needed updating which I could see in the pictures, but it actually needs a lot of maintenance: dirty carpet, walls, leaking sink and dishwasher (lots of puddles and warped floor), garbage disposal not working, light bulbs out or missing in bedrooms, bath, living area. We had a linen glitch but it was resolved, albeit slowly, though it was the holidays. Location good, parking good for the area. Door lock/knob doesn't work well which they should describe in emails so you don't have to call to figure it out when you arrive.
