This property is well-located, near the Garden State Parkway, Rts. 34, 35 and 70, and just a few minutes from several excellent beaches. The apartment is newly renovated with a full bath and kitchen, it is extremely clean and quiet. The owner is very available and approachable, and came right over when we had difficulty with the television. Wifi is provided as well as linens, towels, dishes and some pots and pans. We missed having cable tv, a bath mat, dish drying mat, oven mitts and a few other simple amenities so we made a few pit stops at Big Lots. The Roku/Netflix streaming was available but offered no local news so we felt a little out of touch during our 2 week stay. We were able to enjoy all of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, and found shopping, banking, laundry services and lots of great restaurants very nearby. We were in NJ during some terrible, stormy weather, where many local areas flooded, which was why it was a good idea to rent a little bit more inland and at a higher elevation. This is a very big deal, when the folks at the beaches start evacuating, you are warm and safe with no need to relocate. I would definitely recommend this rental with one reservation. The apartment is new but the building is old and musty. We have allergies and had a terrible time with all of the mold and mildew- all of our possessions came home smelling musty so be forewarned. Of course, EVERY hotel in the area is older and musty- it's part of being at the shore. The price of this rental and the accommodations available greatly outweigh any inconveniences- just pray for sunnier, dryer weather.
