You will enjoy swimming, sandy beach; you can watch your family swim, or the freighters go by as you enjoy a deck with built in seating and sun umbrellas on the water's edge. From coffee on the covered porch in the mornings watching the sun rise, to cozy campfires at night, the possibilities are endless to have a great time.

This place is absolutely amazing. The house was clean and accommodating. Seeing the freighters every morning was awesome. I definitely plan on returning for a longer trip.

Southbound Freighters, lots of yard, beautiful, bright and airy. It was a fantastic location and super convenient for freighter viewing and going on short trips into the Sault.

The house and property were great. There were no problems in communicating with the Owner. However, there were unexpected charges for our dog. The listing stated that it was pet friendly and up to two dogs were allowed, but I didn't see anything about additional charges. The Owner assessed a 40 cleaning fee after we checked out. We were also charged additional for cleaning up duck feathers and blood from the back deck. Something that was pretty minor that the Owner charged 50 to power wash the deck. Honestly something that I could have and should have done myself that would have only taken 5 minutes and did not require a power washer. Great property, just be aware.

Very nice place to stay with ample sleeping space. Nice open living and kitchen space. We loved watching the barges go by the cottage in St. Mary’s River.

7 day stay with cousin and dog. Met and exceeded all our expectations. Well decorated and very comfortable. Such a relaxing stay. If you enjoy watching down bound freighters, you will have a front row seat. If I return to the area, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
