So not worth the money
There is very little cell service at this house. I’ve rented many times thru VRBO and this is my first bad experience. From the website it appears that this is an exclusive neighborhood but what happens is that 25-30 people will crowd into these very close houses and have
nonstop partying. I immediately contacted the management company about how dirty the house was. I have pictures that include health hazards such as green mold and slime in the ice dispenser. The carpet and floors are so dirty that you will wear shoes so the bottoms of your feet do not turn black with dirt. The cleaning fee was much more than I’ve ever paid with a home so why is the house so dirty? There was no coffee pot Carrafe. We found it later in the garbage can. The towels were folded up damp on the beds. There was a cockroach on the counter and dried blood on the master toilet. The management company did not respond to the 3 emails and 2 calls that I left as there were other questions and issues. They did respond to the email about broken closet and football table but wanted to schedule a time for us to wait on repairmen. We were not willing to forgo our plans nor allow strangers in the house so that’s our fault. But shouldn’t the cleaning company arrange for replacement and repairs BEFORE the visit? It was very confusing with so many companies and no one taking responsibility: listing agent, management company, cleaning service, neighborhood management, etc. etc. Also be prepared to provide EVERYTHING from soaps, spices, wash clothes, toilet paper, trash bags. This is NOT like someone’s second home that you are renting. It’s more like a elegant facade In a cheaply built neighborhood designed to make the most money possible. Yet the emails checking on your stay NEVER get answered. I have pictures and copies of the emails. VRBO, Please do something about this listing. I’ve just heard from the management company....minuscule refund.
