Perfect spot for water sports and nature!

A cozy and comfortable cabin, plenty of water toys, clean accommodations, we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, it was relaxing and fun all at the same time; hope to be back soon!

Family weekend together

Perfect accommodations! Very clean, which is important to me. Very accommodating hosts regarding amenities and other services. Hosts were very flexible and easy to work with. Communication with the hosts was very fast and efficient. I would 100% recommend and we would return.

The best weekend

Mick & Lollie were so easy to communicate with and were very responsive from the beginning! The cabin was a lovely getaway from the city and was so cute and romantic. Our pup also had a great time and enjoyed the water

Family Reunion

We came back to WI for a family reunion and needed extra space. This was the perfect spot on a beautiful quiet lake. We couldn't believe how close we were to the lake and how peaceful. We always love to come back to WI!

A Little Bit of Heaven

Peaceful and restful get away! Just what we needed. The Sullivan's are very nice people & a pleasure to talk to. The fishing is amazing off the pier. Beach area is clean and fun. Highly suggested for couples getaway.

Nice Getaway

Mick and Lollie were great hosts. The cabin was rustic and the property serine. Very relaxing. The pontoon boat was great! Just what we needed ti unwind for a couple of days.

Family revisiting lake from childhood!

Everything was wonderful. The cabin had all the essentials as well as lots of luxuries. The ability to use the canoe, kayaks, and fishing boat was awesome! The beach area was perfect for cooking out and enjoying the view. The place was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Work Vacation

I came to the Northwoods for peace and quiet as I needed to recharge and get some schoolwork done in an uninterrupted setting. The lake was beautiful and quiet. The hammock was ideal place to get some reading done. Lollie was a great host with tremendous communication and hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Little Bit O’ Heaven is Right!

It is an enchanting log cabin cottage very well equipped, beautifully decorated on a peaceful and quiet lake. There is a sandy beach with a raft to swim to in clear water. We chose the rowboat for a ride although there are kayaks and canoes as well. So many places to sit and enjoy the outside view! We loved our stay here!😎😍😀

Quiet time

If you’re looking for downtime and quiet this will fit your need. Lake is small, but very clean and refreshing. Cabin is livable and has what you need. Nice sandy beach area that you share with any other possible renters. Bring your own inflatables for floating.

Not the greatest family experience

To expensive of a stay. If you rent this place just know that you share the fire pit and waterfront with everyone that stays on the property. You get to inhale cigarette smoke of people outside your cottage and hear them swear as your young children are fishing.

Wonderful Getaway

This was our forth year at this property and it was better than our first. Every year comes with its challenges but it’s always been family related, the one constant has always been this property and the line of communication that we’ve had with Lolly or Mick. There is nothing more that we could ask for, this place has simply been the best. From Mick sending me photos in February to get me excited to the way he told me about fishing spots and specific baits to use to increase my luck. This cabin provides all the necessary ingredients you need to have a relaxing time “off the grid”. I could not dream up a better place to take a vacation or better owners to deal with. I highly recommend this resort (which is truly what it is) to anyone who is looking for some down time, away from the hustle and bustle of life and go to a simpler time of beach lounging and great fishing and seek out Mick and Lolly and one of their phenomal properties and just allow yourself to completely unwind in the beauty that is Lac Du Flambeau.

Trip with our dogs.

The cabin and location was just as described. The fishing was good and the entire area was very peaceful. Lollie and Mick were always quick to respond and very nice to deal with before and during our stay.

Kayaking with Loons was a unique experience. Cabin is in a peaceful location!

Our entire experience was amazing. Great cabin and beach. Fun fishing. We saw loons and a bald eagle too. Great location for day trips biking on Bearskin trail and waterfalls in the UP

Nice place but a little crowded for that "Northwoods feel"

Building was spotless, cute, good water pressure. Beds where ok. Bathroom and Bedroom doors are interesting in that they overlap and block eachother. Main shortcomings were the re-construction of a building at the top of the hill started every morning at or before 7:00 am and how un-private the cabin was. If you enjoy more people than I do, by next year the construction should be done so its a very nice place. They have canoes, kayak's, lovely beach and docks,

Lollie Sullivan grew up in Chicago and married her highschool sweetheart and raised 7 kids together, while sharing time between the Northwoods and Marco Island, Florida. After running Accurate Title Insurance in Marco Island, FL as CEO and founder, Lollie now enjoys living full-time in the Northwoods at Thunderbird Point and enjoying life as an Innkeeper.

Thunderbird Point originally operated as a family summer resort with six cabins nestled on Lake Bobidosh under gorgeous white, jack pine and birch trees. The water of Lake Bobidosh is so clear; the fishing is so good and the sounds of the Northwoods are soothing. Lake Bobidosh is not a busy lake. It is peaceful and the inviting and laid back. Neighboring White Sand Lake is the next lake over and has public access for recreational water sports. We have mostly fishing boats, pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, rafts, small sunfish sailboats and a lot of lazy lounge swimming. We are located off the beaten path, but close enough for a quick ride to casino, tourist attractions, great restaurants, antiquing, hiking, cycling, berry picking, golfing, hunting, Native American cultural museums, water ski shows, Artists, Art Galleries and all that the area has to offer.
