Olga and her family were wonderful renters. Unfortunately I made a mistake in scoring the stay as all 4's. I tried to change those scores to 5's but due to VRBO's rules, I am unable to make a change after the review is submitted. I would recommend Olga and family to other home owners. While there was little communication needed, they were very attentive and observed all house rules and left the home in a very good condition.

Perfect vacation stay!

Place was very clean, well kept. Location is a nice quiet neighborhood within minutes of pretty much anything you'll need and within easy driving distance from beaches if you want to go to the beach. Communication with owner was great, he's would typically reply pretty quickly. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Home

This was the second time we stayed in this home. The property is very clean with beautiful decor. We love the location and the lanai was very private. John the owner was very responsive to our needs.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful week staying in John’s home. The house had everything we needed, the pool was great, the neighborhood was nice and quite, and the few neighbors we did see were friendly! John was easy to communicate with even accommodated us to allow us in a few hours early after a long 18 hour straight through drive! We would definitely stay again, and recommended this home!

Quiet, Comfortable and Convenient

This home has great curb appeal, is tastefully furnished, well stocked and comfortable. It is located just a couple of minutes from shopping, restaurants and I75 yet is in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. There are no negatives. We had a great stay.

Great Rental

We really enjoyed our stay at John's property. The villa was well equipped with everything you need, especially in the kitchen. All clean and a quiet neighbourhood. Lovely views from the pool across the lake, with so much wildlife. We had a slight problem with entry to the property on arrival, but was quickly resolved by John. Thank you again, would highly recommend this villa.

Fantastic Stay!

We stayed at John’s house in early December 2023. We were two adult couples wanting to stay on the Tara Golf Course. The house was very well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed and the location of the property is close (in some cases walking distance) to everything we wanted. We had a little issue with the entry code we were provided, but one quick call to the property management company upon arrival and it was rectified. We would love to stay here again should the opportunity arise!

Loved the home!!

We absolutely loved the home. It was very specious, beautifully decorated. The only complaint was that the pool doesn't get direct sun all day so at the time of year we went I would have preferred to have the pool heated. Thw home does have the option, but at an extra cost. Unfortunately I was not informed of this fee until check-in. Regardless of this, we would definitely rent the home again. It is in a beautiful neighborhood with everything needed within 10 mins of the home.

Thank-you for your comments about my home. I just want to comment on the pool issue. The pool is heated by solar panels on the roof of the house, therefore there is no extra charge to heat the pool. This must have been misunderstanding when you checked in. I'll check to ensure the water was flowing through the solar panels. I'm happy that you enjoyed our home.

Tara Golf and Country Club home with pool

This is a beautiful home. The owner has made some changes from the pictures on VRBO and they are stunning! Very clean and comfortable home, especially if you are a tall individual. The master and guest beds are quite high and difficult to get in if you are short. The outside is wonderful with many seating arrangements. The screened in pool/lanai area does not let in even the smallest of bugs. The sliding doors go into the wall for a full open look to the lanai and pool as long as the weather is not too hot. John was an easy to work with and kept in touch through emails.

Lovely home was heavenly in May

Florida - sun and beaches - they are lovely, but this comfortable and spacious home, with a warm swimming pool and pond was heavenly. We have so many memories of bringing our kids here in past years. Now, all are grown up, and we went back for a family celebration... We were thrilled to see all sorts of birds at the pond while relaxing in the well appointed lanai. The kitchen was a cook's delight - all the spices you would want for cooking a wide range of cuisines, a great coffee maker and a full choice of dishes and cutlery, lots of tips for dining---though we enjoyed the place so much, we mainly spent our time in the home. We walked to the nearby grocery store (Publix) that has a fabulous fish-market. Their produce department has lots of local fruit and veggies and excellent cantaloupe and oranges. We had lots to celebrate and this was the perfect venue! LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Simply amazing!

Great spacious house, fully equipped. Grocery stores (ALDI and Walmart) very close. Beaches 40-50 minutes away. Very tastefully decorated, not one of those lifeless rental properties without soul. I enjoyed sitting on a covered lanai at night. The kids adored the pool with a bunch of toys. Toddler books available. Everything worked perfectly. Plenty of plates, cups and utensils. Overall, one of the very best rentals we ever stayed in. We stayed at the time of Debby hurricane which brought huge amount of rain and strong wind, but the water never reached the house despite the lake being very close to the back yard. Lanai is very well protected from the wind. Beautiful landscaping around the house.

Nice house but important cleaning issues

The house is nice well furnished with a lot of space and equipments in a great and calm neighborhood (pound, a lot of wildlife, great golf course), closed to beaches, shops etc. The only issue is a cleaning: kitchen and floors in the bathroom and toilets were very dirty, candy wrappers found in several places etc. We suspected that bed linens have not been changed (not fresh, with hairs) so we alerted the management company which answered that normally it’s been done but if we want we can change them by our own (fortunately there was an additional set). It’s a pity as all the rest is great and the communication with the owner was super!

Thanks for a Wonderful Experience

We are very happy to have found this home for our vacation. We were looking for a place near Sarasota, Florida to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. After looking a many places along the Gulf Coast shore, we decided to look further inland and found this home. We are very happy we did. The home is beautiful, very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. The community was very quiet with barely any traffic. This was a great place to get away from all of our stresses and decompress in a beautiful home. We could not have been more pleased. This region of Florida had everything we could have hoped for including great restaurants and an amazing, huge shopping mall. Our week was very enjoyable and if we have the chance, we will stay here again. There was only one disappointment. We didn't see the alligator that resides in the small lake behind the house. We saw movement in the water and the tip of his nose but he didn't come out while we were at the house. We strongly recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a very peaceful vacation. Villa on Tara

We stayed at villa 475247 on Tara,a location we know very well as we owned property in the same area so all the places to visit and eat were very familiar. The villa itself was set out very well and suited the group that visited. We felt the quality of white goods was pretty poor ( kettle/toaster etc ) or older,(the dishwasher was faulty but was fixed by the handyman promptly ) the owner had his car in the garage full of I assume personal goods & also in the garage cupboards with padlocks on which made it feel that someone had moved out and you were in someones home instead of a holiday let, although it did not detract from our enjoyment. The only downside was we had our 6 year old with us and had asked for a heated pool,we were told it was and technically it was, except it was not solar or heated by a heating boiler or similar as we have been used to, it was just pipes on the roof and a pump, consequently the pool was cold and not at a temperature for any of the party to be able to use ............................... which was a big disappointment as the pool was to be a big part of the holiday.

Thank-you for your comments on my home. However, I am disappointed in this review. I specifically advised the renter that the pool was heated only by solar panels on the roof. Solar panels are just that, pipes running to the roof to 6 solar panels (in this case) through which the water runs. The pool temperature is dependent entirely on the amount of sun at the time. Unfortunately, in the month of December, one cannot determine the amount of sun we will receive or the water temperature. As for the "white goods" this is the first complaint we have had about them and we have already replaced the kettle. The toaster is in good working order, however, will look at whether it needs replacing. We have an ample supply of other small appliances, which you don't normally see in a vacation rental, which are also in excellent condition. While this is a vacation home, it is also our private home which we rent out a few months of the year. All one needs to do is observe the extra personal touches to the decorating to know this. Hence, I don't feel it is uncommon for the owner to store personal items in locked cabinets in the garage. Also the home has a large 2 car garage with sufficient room for a second vehicle. I was not aware that my vehicle parked in the garage would be an issue. It could easily be moved out if requested and warranted. Thank-you for this review..... John

What a great stay!

We’ve stayed at many rental homes over the years and this was one of our favorites. Such beautiful plants all around the home! Being in the hospitality industry for over 17 years, you notice depths of cleanliness a bit more than typical. This home was very clean and maintained! One thing particularly that I noticed is when wiping up spilled ice in the kitchen; the paper towel showed no dirt. Little touches like the children’s pictures and drawings made it feel more like a home. A lot of places don’t have some of the amenities, such as a gas grill. This was a nice addition, as I didn’t want to cook all the seafood we got inside :) John was very wonderful to work with all the way through and the communication was always spot on. We loved seeing all of the birds around the lake and even got a couple glimpses of the alligator too! We’re from Nebraska so we always enjoy staying somewhere where we see things that we don’t get to see at home, like the different lizards, huge grasshoppers, armadillos and of course all the beautiful birds and flowers. The area was very beautiful, safe and quiet. The pool area was very private even though there were homes on both sides, we never heard or seen anyone. Quick access to the interstate and stores. Definetely recommend!

Does what it says on the tin

After an issue gaining access to the property, the codes we had didn't work, we had a very enjoyable stay here and it delivered everything we needed. Once the temperature got back to what we were expecting in Florida there were regular visits from an alligator in the water at the rear.. The host, John, was very quick to respond to our request around pool heating. All in all a great property and location.

Perfect Florida Getaway

This house was everything that we were looking for... clean, comfortable and quiet. Both the house and surrounding neighborhood were very nice and the pool area was a huge bonus. We'd love to return when planning our next trip to Bradenton!

We are avid golfers, hence the purchase of this home in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the area. Since we are still working we cannot spend all the time we want in the home. We love the area and know that anyone that rents it will fall in love with the home and the area.

We love to sit in the lanai in the evenings with a glass of wine watching the sunset. We have a keen interest in birds and this lakeside home offers an up close encounter with several different species of wading and diving birds, literally right in our back yard. We catch bass right off our property as well.

You can walk to the clubhouse and enjoy a wonderful culinary experience by one of the best chefs in the area.

The 18 hole championship golf course is impeccably maintained and each hole offers a different challenge.
