I actually stayed at the Williams next-door as this place was already booked. The management crew corrected the misunderstanding and supplied us with a cute place right next-door. The place was charming and quaint. For being so close to downtown you would think you would hear a noise from people in the evening time, but it was very quiet and private. One of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place for your travels to Jacksonville and I will definitely be back.

The Monarch was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. Ashley responded in a timely manner and was very pleasant to work with. She thought of every detail, and even provided chairs and a blanket for our Britt concert! It was close and in walking distance to coffee, restaurants and shops. We look forward to returning to the Monarch…..

The property is ideally located within walking distance to the Britt and town, so we never used our car while we were there.It was extremely clean, had most of the amenities we needed and communication with the host was great.

I’ve always had a passion for real estate, homes, and the unique communities that make each place special. What I love most about hosting is getting to share not just a property, but the experience of being part of an amazing community. Jacksonville has so much to offer, from its beautiful surroundings and local character to the people, restaurants, and experiences that make it a wonderful place to visit.

This property is especially meaningful to our family because we run it together as a family and are proud to honor the memory and legacy of my grandparents through it. For us, this isn’t simply a rental property—it’s something personal that we care deeply about. We’ve put thought and heart into creating a space where guests can feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home.

We hope that when you stay here, you’ll have the opportunity to slow down, explore Jacksonville, and create some wonderful memories of your own. We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect combination of convenience, charm, and access to everything that makes Jacksonville special. Our property is just half a block from downtown, making it incredibly easy to walk to the shops, restaurants, tasting rooms, and local attractions along California Street—the main strip through town.

Located on the south side of Jacksonville, we’re also just a short walk from the Britt Festival, making this an especially convenient place to stay when enjoying one of the area’s favorite summer traditions. We’re proud to be one of the closest vacation rentals to the heart of downtown, so you can park your car and enjoy much of Jacksonville on foot.

And speaking of parking, our property offers a private parking spot, which is a wonderful convenience when staying this close to downtown. You can arrive, park securely in your own designated space, and leave the car behind while you explore.

We love that this location allows guests to experience the charm and character of Jacksonville while being steps away from the action. It’s an easy, walkable, and convenient home base for enjoying everything our community has to offer.
