This cabin on the lake was beautiful and clean. Our downfall we encountered was the ice machine in the fridge wasn’t working and you weren’t able to get water from the fridge. Also the outlet in the downstairs bathroom was broken and could not work at all. There was mold on the shower curtain. I don’t believe I was made aware of any of these things. It was just disappointing to come across those things for the amount it cost to stay. Like I mentioned, the cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean just except for the few set backs.

Everything our family needed

Our family was looking for a quiet getaway close to home. We couldn’t have picked a better place. The nature, kayaking, fishing. You name it, we enjoyed it! Even the rainstorm so enjoyable.. the rain hitting the wood was the ideal nap time. The cabin was well equipped, decorated and made us feel right at home. We went to Renegades for dinner one night - 10 miles about 18 minutes away. Well worth it. Beautiful Tiki bar. We also ate at Pomona park pizza and 3 bananas. All great places very close by. Thank you for allowing us to make memories here. We will be back .

Best lake around!

We love Lake Broward due to the water being clear and very little boat activity on the water. Everyone enjoyed fishing off the dock and the nice beach area for swimming. Kids enjoyed the stairs to the water. We also caught a few bass from the dock. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Enjoyable time away

This house was a great place to stay for our family. We had 4 adults and 2 kids.....the kids took over the second floor loft area and loved it! The house was clean and ready when we arrived. Any communication we needed to have with the property owner was answered promptly. It was a very pleasant stay. The only down side was the lake had a lot of weeds in it. The kids weren't really able to play in the shallow beach area because the weeds were so thick. The dock was great and allowed for lots of jumping and swimming.

Fun for kids

The dock and lake were great for for the kids. The cabin was a lot of fun also they loved the loft. The cabin now has a bait bucket and bait container for in the water at dock. You can buy wild shiners at nearby fish camps if you like fishing.

Great value for money

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The lake provided breathtaking sunrises. Everyone loved fishing and there were lots of fish. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of towels. Lighting wasnt great but the property mgr made it right quickly. A few things not in the listing we would have liked to know ahead of time. 4 Kayaks were on site along with 2 rafts. Outside grill. Loft had 4 beds not 2. Kerig and coffee pot in the kitchen. Cabinet full of games. Be prepared for caterpillars, they are everywhere! Anyway you look at it this place is amazing. I didn't want to leave. We are ready to book next year.

Lake Broward

We had a great time overall. But this house is EXTREMELY MUSTY! We had many small lizard encounters in the house. The house just needs a GOOD cleaning. There is also something wrong with the dryer. It gets very hot when drying clothes, its not vented properly. One of my guest couldn't stay with us because of the smell, but he lives just 45 minutes away so it wasn't a huge problem.

Lovely place!

Fantastic property. If you are looking for a place to truly unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is it! ONLY complaint, and I mean only, is the step leading out the front door.. too shallow of a step and really needs to be replaced. In fact, I took a stumble, twisted my ankle, had to visit an urgent care, and had to watch everyone else enjoy themselves while I hobbled around on crutches for the rest of the stay. My daughter and father also tripped but didnt fall.

Relaxing family weekend at the coziest cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay. There were 8 of us. The place was clean and really nice. My grandkids loved the lake and the dock. It was very quiet and exactly what we were looking for! Definitely would like to come back again.

An Enjoyable Place to Stay!

We enjoyed staying at this nice cabin on Lake Broward. It was definitely a quiet and peaceful place. I would just recommend that the property owner repair the short in the light fixture in the living area because the lamps alone do not make the room bright enough. One of the lamps had a burnt-out bulb. The living and kitchen area lighting is very dim. It was fun to have a couple of kayaks to use during the day. We enjoyed fishing, sitting on the front porch and using the hammock. The kitchen had an adequate number of appliances and dishes. We are a family of 8, so we had to wash towels and washcloths every day. I would recommend adding several more towels for larger groups. The beds were comfortable in every room and the beds in the loft were comfortable as well. A couple of the banister rails at the top of the stairs need to be repaired. The nails have come loose and can be pushed out at the bottom. A vacuum cleaner would be great for cleaning the floors after each stay. We only found a small hand-held one. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again for sure.

Cabin in Florida

Our family spent Christmas 2021. Had a great time. Cabin was stocked with everything you need and things you didn 't know you needed. Very spacious. Beautiful lake view and sunrise. My grandkids had a great time. Plenty of sleeping space. Nice surprise was that the Loft had 4 beds, the listing only showed 2 beds. Great place for swimming and fishing in the lake.

Total Relaxation

This is our second time staying here and we love it! The water is crystal clear, the dock has ample covered space. It is a good time to enjoy the great outdoors. The cabin is very cute, the kitchen could use a few dishes/containers. We will be back!

Lovely remote lake experience

We loved the sunrises over the water from the porch. Our kids loved the loft and walkway over the open living space. The log home feel was delightful. The bathroom on the second floor is not designed for tall people... lots of head bumps on the beams. The beds in the loft need some attention; box prints and frames that don’t match to support well. And the porch was great after we cleaned it; lots of cobwebs and dirt when we arrived.

The cabin was nice but could use some “spring cleaning”

Cabin was nice but there are no screens in any windows to let fresh air in & the layout makes it crowded for a group of 9... Before renting I had messaged the person in charge & of course as others said, my question was never answered so that didn’t help.

Great getaway

We loved the location off the beaten path! It was so nice to wake up and watch the sunrise over the lake with a cup of coffee. The cabin was perfect for our family of 8! The only suggestion I would make is there needs to be more coffee cups. There were 2 coffee cups in the whole place. I will say they did have every other appliance you could possibly need! There were also spiderwebs and nests all over the porch. It would be nice if it was hosed down before arrival. Also, one of the chairs on the porch was propped up by a center block. Other than that, Scott was great at communicating with us and very quick to respond! If we're ever in the area again, we would for sure stay here again! Thanks for having us!

Beautiful Lake, Good Fishing and Lots of Sandhill Cranes; Very Bad Beds

Everything was fine, peaceful at property except beds, couches, easy chairs were terrible; I mean impossible to sit/sleep on-should be replaced now; spouse and I would go back but not being able to sleep makes that unlikely; lots of bulbs out; short in wall switch in great room; property needs electrical maintenance and new sleeping/sitting furniture Lovely location on private lake; boat ramp and dock were great along with sitting on front porch Update sleeping accommodations and do maintenance and it would be 5 stars across the board

Relaxing and fun!

My family loves staying in cabins but usually end up having to drive to Tennessee or Georgia. We are from Florida so finding a place nearby is fantastic! We loved it! Very comfortable and being on the lake was a huge plus. We used the kayaks (although it was bit windy but it's fun for the kids), went fishing off the dock, made s'mores, laid out on the hammock, bbq'd hamburgers, sat every morning on the rocking chairs to drink coffee. Exactly what one does in a cabin by the lake. : ) We all enjoyed this vacation so much! Thank you for having such a lovely cabin and sharing it with us to enjoy! We will definately be staying there again.
