We didn’t stay at the property. Had to find a hotel nearby. Air conditioning not working, broken screen door on sliding glass door, hot tub partially closed in on itself, but worst of all was terrible cigarette smoke stench. Reached out to owner but no real help. Would like a refund

When we arrived the house wasn’t cleaned out after previous guest , the owner didn’t provide our refundable deposit that we were suppose to receive after checkout!! , host was very rude to us and no help in the refund process !!

The property is in disrepair. Shower upstairs is inaccessible, door hardware is strewn about (one door looks like it was forcibly opened at some point), the HVAC does not cool the upstairs (and makes clanking noises all night), and in general the place could use a thorough wall cleaning or even re-painting. I paid for early check in, but when I arrived the cleaning crew was there so I couldn't get in when needed and I missed my event. owner was initially responsive but then disappeared when my party needed to do things like ... shower.oh - the hot tub? Yikes. just don't do it.I suppose if I was 19 and staying with a bunch of other 19 year olds for a house party, this would be perfect. But for a family trying to travel (and shower) it doesn't work.

DO NOT BOOK. AWFUL NEIGHBORHOOD. DOOR LOCK BROKE. FURNITURE SMELLED. DISHES AND GLASSES DIRTY. NO HOT TUB WAS A DEFLATED BLOW UP TUB. TOWELS WERE OLD AND THIN. COFFEE MAKER MADE 2 CUPS. LEFT AN HOUR AFTER WE ARRIVED MESSAGED HOST AND NEVER HEARD BACK. DO NOT RENT. I COULD NOT LET MY FAMILY STAY THERE

Overall, the place was clean. But, there were five large bags of garbage at the back door where the deflated, empty hot tub was located. There were several smoke detectors with no batteries. The third floor shower was leaking onto the bathroom floor, without anyone taking a shower. There is an issue behind the wall. None of the five TV remotes had batteries so no one could watch TV. I communicated this to the host and never got a response. Having no bathroom on the first floor should have been stated in the listing. We had a senior who found it difficult to use the bathroom when we were all sitting around talking.

Communication with the host was very poor. He did not respond in a timely manner, and when issues came up during our stay, we were unable to reach him until the morning of checkout even after multiple attempts to call and message. Check-in itself went smoothly, but once inside, the house was not clean. There were visible signs of poor upkeep, including hair on the floors, and overall it did not feel properly cleaned or prepared for guests. We also ran into major issues with room access. Several bedroom doors were locked and we were not given the codes. When we reached out for help, there was no response, leaving us unable to access one of the rooms for most of the stay. We were later told there were extra keys, but this was only communicated at checkout, which should have been explained at check-in. We were unable to use all the rooms as intended due to missing access information, and had to adjust to only three rooms. Fortunately, one room had an extra bed, but this did not make up for the inconvenience and lack of communication. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience due to poor cleanliness, lack of preparation, and unresponsive communication. I would not recommend this stay or book again.

This place is mostly functional for a stay but it definitely needs some work. The bathroom on the top floor specifically. The shower is completely unusable. The hot tub in the back is also currently unusable. The bedroom doors are damaged. If you're looking for a place to sleep for a night, this spot is a good value. Positives - there is a lot of space in the home. Check in was very easy. The host is communicative.
