What an awesome home! Love the open floor plan and beautiful decor! The home is so clean and spotless with crisp linens and fresh towels. All light switches and light/fans are clearly marked with night lights in every room, so you’re not in a completely dark house. So thoughtful. Cheryl has thought of everything. The bathroom is huge with plenty of counter space. Full kitchen has everything you’d need for extended stays. Huge deck with a glider and fire table and chairs. The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants, too. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a relaxed, cozy stay!

Our vacation at Cheryl's pondside Abode couldn't have been any better. The house was spotless. Everything you might need for your vacation was provided, not often done in rentals. The electronic door lock was a plus. No keys to lose. The VRBO listing didn't do the house justice. It was much better than advertised. Cheryl is an excellent host, very easy to contact and very responsive to any question or concern. The house is in a lovely location, right in the heart of Amish country. So quiet, beautiful, and affordable. We are hoping to be able to rent from Cheryl again in the future. You can't go wrong with the Pondside Abode.

Very clean, perfect place to stay in Holmes county as it was close to everything! We stayed in and cooked dinner and breakfast each morning so coffee bar was very appreciated! Only downfall was there wasn’t a dishwasher so we had to wash our dishes by hand.

My husband, myself , and my disabled daughter , so love everything about this cozy home . It was so cute , we love all the Bible verses artwork as that is hard to find . One of the cleanest homes we have ever rented . Love the beautiful flowers and gift . The note was so very sweet. Love the texture on the wall , and we would love to know what it is called and the flowers . We just enjoyed it tremendously and took many photos !! May God bless this home with many visitors ! Thanks

Such a nice place to stay! It was absolutely spotless. And it’s a great central location for visiting all the Amish communities. The host was kind enough to loan me a crockpot so we could come home to a hot dinner a few times through the week after being out all day enjoying our travels. There was a very nice surprise for us in the fridge and even fresh flowers on the table. We had pretty much everything we needed. And the host was quickly responsive to our questions. I wouldn’t hesitate on this one! P.S. Most everything is closed on Sundays so if you need food you might want to get it on Saturday. We did find an Aldi that was open in Fredericksburg so we could get eggs, toast, juice, etc. for our Sunday breakfast.
