Great place to stay, pool and sauna were very nice. Even had a massage chair in one area. Outdoors was especially nice - private with lots of birds to hear in the morning. Perfect distance for seeing Lynchburg, and Tim's Ford. We would definitely stay here again.

Host was very welcoming and concerned that we enjoy our stay. The home was nicely appointed - better than other rentals I have used in the area. The pool and infrared sauna were lovely, and quite welcome for relaxing after a long day of travel.

The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for cooking large meals. The pool and sauna are amazing. The house was very clean and comfortable.

Great location in Lynchburg with a very quiet, rural feel. The indoor pool and sauna were a big hit with our teens. Home was clean & well-equipped with everything we needed. Alanna was a fabulous host with quick communication. We hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely stellar house. It's located in a nice, quiet area with very close proximity to the Jack Daniel's distillery, downtown, and a local grocery store. Most amenities were perfect. There were plenty of towels for both showers AND the pool/sauna. The sheets & blankets were mostly cotton which made sleeping more comfortable (polyester sheets are HOT). The collection of spices and condiments in the kitchen were perfect.Having access to an indoor pool and sauna directly from the house made this one of the best VRBO experiences I've ever had and my friends said the same. The outdoor firepit had a stack of wood and kindling and even though we didn't use it, there was a grill with the tools you needed. There was even a massage chair in the hallway that all of us used at one point in our stay. I will likely try to book this place again if we decided to do the Oak Barrel Half next year.
