Family Beach Vacation

This is a great location and property for our larger family. The parking is convenient and the proximity to the beach and to the town is perfect. It's nice to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Perfect place

Quiet beach area, listen to the waves from the balcony. Hot tub a huge plus. Kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable. Walk to the Sugar Shack for ice cream or across the dunes to the beach. Loved it!

Location to see waves and sand

We travel alot and the place was great they thought of things for everyone and that made it special. THE LOCATION WAS HORRIBLE COULDN'T SEE SAND OR WAVES. WE GO TO THE GULF ALWAYS AND IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. WANT GO TO THAT SIDE EVER AGAIN.

Unit is fine; the view is not as described

The listing description for this unit currently states that you’ll have a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. This is not entirely true. You have a view of the palm trees and dunes directly in front of you, with glimpses of the ocean beyond. Because this unit is so low on first level, you can’t see the waves breaking ashore, or see the birds swooping down over the water. The sliding glass door leading to the balcony was covered top to bottom in handprint smudges and smears when we arrived at the unit. For the amount I paid to rent this unit, it should have been pristine. The location of the unit is great since the beach there was never crowded. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths is a plus. However, I was promised a spectacular view. This is the first time I’ve ever been in an oceanfront property where you can’t truly see a lot of the ocean. Very disappointing. I feel robbed.

Four Birthdays Celebration

My sisters and 8 year old niece planned this vacation for many months. We wanted some place that was quiet but by the water and this place fit the bill 100%!! We all had a room . bathroom, the kitchen was very well equipped and the view from the balcony was excellent. We are already talking about next year and maybe inviting more family.

Very nice

My new wife and I stayed in this condo for our honeymoon, as it was in easy driving distance and we were nervous about flying to a more exotic destination. We loved the layout of the apartment and the easy walk to the relatively quiet beach. We especially enjoyed the hottub. Only a few minor issues. It would have been nice to have a pool. The TV was not wired correctly, but we finally figured out that we need to plug the output from the cable box into the correct slot (there were some printed out instructions with a number to call for help if the TV didn't work, but the phone number has been reassigned to someone totally unrelated to the management company. If we hadn't figured out the wiring problem, this would have been a big issue. No excuse for not providing a current support phone number). The icemaker was adequate for the two of us, but with any more people, you should plan to buy ice. The rocker on the porch was falling apart and needs to be replaced. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and will return again.

Loved our condo!

View of the ocean from the balcony was great! We loved the short walk out to the beach directly from our condo. Private deck was nice with the hot tub. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed every minute. Very nice sized bedrooms and plenty of room for our family of 4. Would stay again! Recommend going to huck-a-poos for drinks and pizza :)

Family vaca!!!

Very family friendly place!! Has everything you could need. Tons of dishes and cookware etc, plenty of towels!!! Perfect location, the list goes on. It was really an amazing stay. we really enjoyed this place so much.

Wonderful

This condo is in a great location. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation right on the beach. I love sitting on the back deck and watching the waves. The hot tub was perfect for us. The unit is clean and has everything you need. Parking was easy and the check in/out was a breeze. We would love to stay here again!!

Property was awesome!

The location of the property was awesome and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a few minor issues/suggestions such as the hot water not being hot in all bathrooms for the stay of the trip. Maybe the hot water tank needs to be adjusted to accommodate the number of people staying at the property. Also, the smoke detector constantly goes off when cooking. Maybe a vent can be installed above stove to prevent this problem when cooking. Lastly, we had issues with the keypad which briefly preventing us from entering the property one night. The keypad needs to be updated or new battery needs to be added. Thanks

Exactly as advertised!

The place was immaculate, EXACTLY as pictured and advertised. We had everythung we needed for a GREAT few days near the shore. (Except salt and pepper, but seriously, that was IT!) We had all the cookware, dinner and serving items, towels, extra blankets, an iron for when we went out to dinner...just PERFECT!

Family Vacation - July 11-18, 2020

We enjoyed visiting Tybee Island and the Savannah area. We were told that we may be able to check in a little earlier so when we arrived at 2 pm the Condo was not ready. This was perfectly fine since the original check-in time is 4 pm. We were then told that they would call us as soon as the property was ready and do not go to the property until they called. At 4 pm we still had not received a call so we drove to the property just to check to see if it was ready. Our door code would not work so I called the rental company. The lady just said well we will call you when it is ready. She did not even take the time to check anything or make any calls. At 5:20 pm I called the rental property again and was told that she tried to call me at 4:44 and did not get an answer. I had my phone in my hand the entire time and it did not ring, we were sitting in the parking lot in our car waiting. She told me the property was ready. I tried the door code that was given to me at check-in, it did not work. The rental company closes at 5:30. I tried calling but no answer. I called the after-hours emergency number and was told that they had 70 units to turn around that day, they have been very busy and a lot of the codes were not working. He would send someone to help us but then asked me what code I was using. I read the number to him and the rental unit had written on my check-in package. They had written the wrong code on our package. He gave me the correct code and said that we could have checked in earlier but he was very sorry for the mistake. Needless to say, we were very upset and very hot riding around Tybee Island and then having to sit in our car until we finally got into the condo at 5:45pm. The next day we were without power for 3 hours and 45 minutes. We had a very rocky start to our vacation but then the rest of the week went great. The condo was very nice and accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. We enjoyed the unit and the beach. The parking for this unit worked great too. One suggestion: The beach access needs to be a little more accessible. It was very hard to find the way down to the beach at first. When we did find the boardwalk, it was a very tight fit to walk between the building and the a/c unit to access the boardwalk.
