As outfitted this apartment is not suitable for a vacation rental. We paid $15/night (including all fees) which is around half its full rate, and it was not quite worth that. Floors were not clean when we arrived, perhaps because there is a window near the door that can't be closed so dirt, noise & mosquitoes get in. After 3 months of traveling this is the first lodging that failed to provide a way to light the stove and dish soap. The location is good, close to restaurants, groceries, bars and the Metro. It is also street level on a commuter route, so twice a day there are buses and taxis blazing just feet from the door. Wifi is strong but drops signal every 15-20 minutes. The washing machine functions well, but there's not enough room to dry a full load. We bought toilet paper, trash bags and a kitchen sponge, and repurposed a bandanna as a pot holder. There are no coat hooks (it rains frequently here) and no hangers for the closet. The bathroom has openings into the room so there is no privacy. I would stay in this neighborhood again, and I love the city, but this space needs upgrades before it is rented again, even for a 3 day stay.
