Amazing crystal river

We absolutely loved crystal river! The location of the house was very convenient, house was clean, and all was expected except the kayaks. She had plenty too use but during low tide we could not figure out how to get them in or out of the water so we didn’t use them. It would be convenient if there was a floating kayak dock and a small platform or different stairs so that we can get the kayaks out.

All I can say is...WOW!!!

I can't say enough about this property, the owner, and the location! This stay is worth every penny and everything you could ever imagine is available at the house! This is the perfect location for a boat as well, because the channel is extremely close for getting to the ocean. Multiple springs accessible by boat are within 5 minutes, as well as waterfront restaurants. Grocery and entertainment is available by a short car ride as well. If you're going back and forth between this property or others, trust me, THIS. IS. YOUR. HOUSE!!

Great getaway

Property is bigger than the pictures look. Nice quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and was furnished with everything you could need. We really enjoyed out time here.

Perfection!

This house has it all. There isn’t anything that Dixie didn’t think of to have in the house. The house was very clean and had an excellent view. All of the neighbors were friendly. The dock was great for having our boat in the water for the duration of our stay. We will definitely be back again!!!!

Awesome host, great property!

Dixie was very responsive and accommodating after our previous booking at another place was cancelled as we were pulling into town. She let us check in early and even offered late check out as we were leaving. Rental was exactly as described!

Fantastic

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back! The house was spotless, had everything we needed (and more), and is in such a great location. Dixie communicates everything so well and there are little instructions for everything you need throughout the house. Truly a great stay!

Best Stay Yet

This was our first time at this property and we absolutely loved it. We do an annual trip and in years past there has always been extra stress with the boat. (Un-marked channels, too shallow, large rocks around dock, dock across from house, etc) This year was completely different, we launched less than a mile away, pulled right up to the house and we were set. Access to the Gulf was fast and marked, same with going to the springs and kings bay. As far as the house goes, it was great, plenty of kitchen space in a well stocked kitchen, dinning area and living areas were spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms were perfect for our needs. (Mattresses were a little on the stiff side, we will bring a mattress topper next year.) Bathrooms were clean. Showers were on the small side, but that did not bother us at all, there is also a large jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. (Did not use) The view from the deck that wraps around 2 sides is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and start your day. Under the house is a screened porch area that we enjoyed as well. 4 Kayaks were available, however we did not get time to use them. Fishing poles, BBQ Grill, and all kinds of other bonus things were available for use. We will definitely be booking this property again next year and probably as long as it is available for our dates. Communication with Mrs. Dixie the host was responsive and easy going, thank you, we had a great vacation and look forward to next year.

Nice getaway

The property was nice for a family of 4 or 5. Linens, utensils, soap, and trash bags were provided. Great canal spot with access to the Crystal River. Great location for restaurants and boat ramps. Communication with Dixie was great!

Perfect location

We stayed at Dixie’s place for 10 days and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and she supplied all the necessities, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry items. Everything we needed for the entirety of our stay. Great location in Crystal River and very close to the springs. If you have a boat, stay here! We kept our 30’ pilot house at the dock and had zero issues getting in and out of the channel. The channel is deep and wide. We launched at Pete’s Pier and the house is a great location whether you want to stay in the river or go out into the gulf. Twin Rivers Marina is right around the corner for fuel and bait. Perfect location!

Great location

The property was clean upon arrival and in a very good location for us. We enjoyed the easy access to Fort Island Trail beach, along with numerous nearby birding locations. Bicycling was also easy from there.

Wonderful Stay

Great location. Close to a number of national parks, restaurants, etc. There is also a nice tiny beach nearby. The house is clean and has everything we need. We enjoyed the beautiful water view from the deck. Will definitely come back next time. Last but not least, the host is really helpful.

If you like fishing

Great lo cation on a finger canal in Crystal River. We used the rods and reels provided to fish from the dock, I recommend the local bait shop bug juice for there no seems.

Great Fishing Weekend

Was a great place to stay with some teenagers for a fishing weekend. Great location easy access to Crystal River. Only suggestion is to add one more cleat to the dock. Great communication with owner. House just as advertised.

Presently, one daughter is employed by Enterprise Florida, attracting businesses to move to Florida, and the other one has a fashion site YLLWthelabel.com. Find your fun vacation attire there!

You can book this private home for the price of a condo! Memories are made here! This is a fun and peaceful place for a couple or a family. Canal on one side with river view, and wildlife preserve on the other side.

Sleeps 5 comfortably, and best suited for a couple or family. The second bedroom is small as seen in photo.

Living room has cable tv. Master bedroom has small tv. Downstairs features grilling area and eating tables/chairs. Small bedroom has VHS tape player with tones of tapes for the kiddos pleasure!
