Poppy's Cabin at Stoney Creek is a special place where you can relax and rejuvenate. This one-bedroom cabin with a loft is perfect for a getaway. Located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Parkway, you can sit on the large screened in front porch and enjoy your coffee while listening to the creek and enjoying the scenery. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The cozy living room features an electric fireplace, T.V, recliner, and couch. The bedroom is quaint and cozy and adjoins the back deck with a screened in porch. The bedroom also adjoins the bathroom where you can take a shower or enjoy relaxing in the soaker tub with your favorite beverage. The loft features two futons that can be used for additional guests. The loft does have loft steps to get up there so please use caution on them. The cabin also features an outside solo stove, Blackstone grill, and the picnic table is located in the large front yard. Walk across the gravel road and enjoy Stoney Creek as it flows off of the mountain. Wildlife is abundant at the cabin so please use good judgement. I also offer a free laundry service for longer stays. It's private but only 10 miles to the town of Bedford which is worth exploring! Convenient to the Peaks of Otter and not far from Lynchburg or Roanoke. The cabin gets all dressed up for Autumn and Christmas so book early!
