This house has everything you need! Large open concept connects two living areas with a full kitchen. Reclining sofa and overstuffed recliner provide comfortable seating while overlooking the lake or relaxing inside to play games, stream TV or watch movies.

Kitchen amenities include:

From the upstairs loft bedroom wake up to an amazing view overlooking the lake.

Keyless entry for your convenience.

Maximum of 4 guests, including children and all guests must be registered. Children must be over the age of 6. The property and its facilities are for the use of the registered guests only. Guests may not bring additional people, no matter how long, and parties are strictly forbidden. Any unauthorized guests will result in a fee of $100/per guest/per day. If you have more than four total guests, contact host before booking.

Owners assume no responsibility for use of the lake - use is completely at your own risk. While this lake has no public access, there are four other private properties that border this lake. Those owners/families may be seen or heard during your stay.
This house is in a rural Alaska. We do take rigorous measures to keep the home clean, however sometimes we have seasonal dust, bugs & nature that’s beyond our control.
Disclosure: For security purposes, 2 actively recording security cameras (Ring motion sensor, recording device/porch light) above the front door of each dwelling. It records motion and audio on the front porch & driveway of main cabin from approximately the gazebo to the opposite side of driveway, & just the driveway/front door of cottage. There are no cameras on the interior of either property.

Beautiful lake view is the highlight of this cabin. A cozy house that has plenty of room for our family. We took advantage of the boats and kayaks as well as day trips into Telketna. Great hosts who provided sweet extras and quality linens and towels.

We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Birch. The entire property was thoughtfully laid out and maintained. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and using the paddle boat and kayaks. Sitting quietly on the lake and watching the loons was so relaxing. Our teens also really enjoyed the provided outdoor games. The amenities inside were numerous and we were quite comfortable during our stay. Darryl was very fast to respond and very pleasant. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Cute property with lots to do

We were here for just a few days. Cute house with amazing deck and views. The property had LOTS to do. My boys enjoyed kayaking and axe throwing. There is a grocery store close by and the house was well stocked. The location was exactly what we wanted. We went up to Denali and also visited other areas. The property managers responded quickly to our messages. We would recommend this location!

Great stay at Lazy Birch

Great stay for us and our friends this weekend at Lazy Birch. Everything was comfortable and well thought out, and so many amenities were available that we were able to enjoy under the midnight sun. We will definitely return on our next trip to Talkeetna! Thank you to the hosts as well, communication was fantastic throughout the stay!

The Lazy Birch is a beautiful little cabin, just off the beaten track. The cabin is well-maintained and well-appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped. All the little extras are appreciated.Wish we were staying more than just one night. Amazing

The propery is beautiful , the cabin well kept. Waking up and sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and watching the lake with the loons and birds was a great treat ! Would highly recommend for a great stay !!!

Perfectly Peaceful

My only complaint is I wish I would have been able to stay longer. This was the perfect get away for my wife and I. We loved everything they had to offer and would definitely stay here again.

A piece of Alaskan heaven.

Nice cabin situated to taking in the view of the lake. Very comfortable, clean, a nice getaway, but still not too far from Talkeetna/towards Denali. Loved Being able to get on the lake with The provided kayaks/paddleboat. Host was responsive and make sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing stay at the Lazy Birch.

This place was fantastic. There were so many amenities that I lost count. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, played corn hole and horse shoes. Beautiful Property

This was an amazing property. Darryl has ensured that you never run out of things to do. The lake with the paddle boat and kayaks, outdoor games, lovely deck and hiking trails! We loved it all. The house was well stocked and very comfy! Thanks for a wonderful week!!!

Great Stay!

We loved everything this house had to offer! Our favorites included use of the nice lake, paddle boat, kayaks, fishing gear, fire pits, & many outdoor and indoor games for all ages. The house was clean & comfortable for our family and the owner was very responsive to any questions. I also appreciated how the owner checked on us to see if there was anything else we needed or answer any questions we had. We also appreciated all the little amendities they provided and the welcome basket. They went above & beyond. We would definitely stay here again!

Just, WOW

This lovely and well-appointed home had so many amenities and so many activities, we wished for much more time. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute, from the beautiful deck overlooking the lake, to the gazebo with fire pit, to the perfect floor plan taking advantage of the gorgeous views. Just wonderful, start to finish. We highly recommend this VRBO, especially if you have time to play family games and enjoy boating activities. We would definitely consider a return visit!

A cute property with amazing hosts!

What an amazing stay. The property is so cute! List of activities there, a plastic hatchet throwing station outside, board games inside. The windows look out on the lake and have blinds so it’s easy to sleep in the summer with less light. The place was very clean and the host was so responsive and very kind. Thank you so much!

Beautiful Serene Setting

This was a beautiful location and close enough to Talkeetna to spend time there. The home is comfortable with all that is needed to have a nice stay. The communication with the hosts was flawless and they are very welcoming. The gazebo and fire pit were very nice and relaxing.
