This was the perfect property & location for our vacation. Last year, we stayed at the property next door (Leeward II), and this one was so much better. The high ceilings & larger bathroom made a huge difference. Immediately upon walking into the unit I could tell I was going to like it better. It just has an overall "nicer/cleaner" feeling, even the parking lot & exterior. I think the additional rules of this unit help, too - No smoking, no pets, guests only 25 & older, etc. This unit was very clean & had everything we needed & more. This year was our first year staying on the top floor, and it was great! No more hearing people stomp above us. Bed was comfortable. No smart TVs or deluxe channel package, but the basics are enough. DVD player to watch movies. Owner was very responsive & helped with any questions I had.
There were 3 days where someone from a nearby property (3-4 properties down) set up their (6) chairs right in front of the Leeward I property, which caused everyone in our building to be put on the second row. The second day, I purchased my own umbrella just to save a spot at 5am. By the third day, the owner of this unit had enough & was out on the beach at 3:30am with her own (8!) chairs to reserve the space in front of this property! That's what you call a wonderful property owner that cares about her tenants. We were able to relax on our last day at the beach without having to mess with fighting for a spot on the first row, all thanks to this property's owner. One thing to note about this - The owner stated that there's only an issue with people setting up in front of this property during a ~6 week window in late June through July. Otherwise, there aren't really any issues. So, this is just something to be aware of if you rent during this time. The company that sets up the beach chairs/umbrellas cannot start until a certain time. Other than that, we had an excellent stay & look forward to staying here again in the future!
