We got here late due to a flight delay and we couldn't appreciate how nice the setting is until the morning. Steps from the lagoon and amazing tropical fish. The pool right next door. Kids had fun on the kayaks and in the pool. Great communication, clean, fun. Thank you

Our stay was fabulous! The renovations are very nice. Clean and modern compared to previous times. I should add that we stay here every Thanksgiving weekend. Grether was an excellent host and always answered our questions immediately. Can’t wait to be back next year. Thanks for everything!

Trip to Key Largo

Property was perect. Clean , close to things and well stocked. Lagoon was great and Paul was super responsive. Would stay here again.

Paradise

The property and location are exceptional. Immediately out the back door is a lagoon with rafts and it is full of fish that’s like swimming in an aquarium, a huge gazebo with tables chairs and a grill, and the pool and playground are steps away. There’s also (what seemed to be) community paddle boards and kayaks for the kids and whomever to use at will. The community was very friendly and our kids quickly found friends to play with. From the porch you can keep tabs on them nearly everywhere they wanted to go so we didn’t have to chase them around all day. There’s also a jetty in the property that has tables and chairs all along it. You can sit in the shade or better yet walk down at the end of the day for an amazing sunset. All the shops and restaurants you could need are a mile or less away and there’s a restaurant/bar in the marina a half mile away you can walk to that has excellent order at the window food. The unit was comfortable and had everything we could need including a washer/dryer that came in handy. Our whole family was very comfortable and had so much fun during our stay. Our family will definitely be back.

Great place to stay

Location was convenient to stores. House was just as described. Beds were comfortable. Iguanas and squirrels right outside provided entertainment. Lagoon had fish to watch. My advise would be to bring bug spray. Mosquitoes were bad. Paul was very responsive and attentive with any needs. Highly recommend.

Nice Community

We enjoy the property and great Key Largo location. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Some repairs are needed that he is aware of and he said they would be fixed soon.

New Year Getaway

Property was everything as advertised. Check in / out was a breeze. Located directly beside cabana and pool areas. The lagoon was a nice surprise for snorkeling. The property is close to shopping and everything in Key Largo. Definitely recommend for a family adventure.

Kawama Condo

Condo was perfect for my family. Had everything we needed and was clean/comfortable. The host was friendly and communicated well. Kawama is a great resort with so much to offer.

Great vacation spot!

Nice and cozy. Felt just like home. Rooms were nice and big. Plenty of beds and storage. the place was fully stocked so we never had to worry about running out of anything. The view of the lagoon and pool was awesome! My family and I had so much fun! Would recommend to anyone!

Perfect!!!

We loved the our stay, the property was perfect for us and location was awesome. We really enjoyed sitting in the screen porch with a view of the lagoon. We also enjoyed the pool and took walks down the marina and walked along the peninsula. We swam with the fish in the lagoon and feed the iguana's and even hand fed the squirls some peanuts. Thank you Paul for sharing your property and we look forward a future stay!

Nice enough

The condo was nice enough. It does need some improvements. Spackled walls need to be painted. Shower curtain liner was missing from upstairs bathroom. I moved the shower curtain from the downstairs bathroom to the upstairs shower. Some shower rings were missing and the ones that were there would break easily. Condiments were left in the refrigerator that previous guests used. That is very unsanitary and off putting. We've stayed at many VRBO rentals and that has never happened before. That king bed in the main bedroom is VERY uncomfortable. It reminded me of our camper bed. My daughter said the same about the upper bunk is the second bedroom. The stairs have a fabric covering that can be hazardous for walking, especially if you have any kind of back or knee issues. It was disappointing not to have a balcony from the main bedroom. It was opened up to provide additional sleeping. The sliding glass doors are still there and do not slide in the tracks. The couch in the living room was busted and we did not use it. Parking is awful. It's park anywhere you can find. All of this aside, the grounds are beautiful. Being that close to the ocean was a plus. The location is close to a lot of great restaurants. The people were friendly. We've been to Key Largo 20+ times and this was more pricey than we have stayed previously.

Wonderful Rental!

Can't say enough about this wonderful property. Communication with the owner was great he relied very quickly. The property was clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen had enough to cook if you want. The beds were comfy and both bedrooms were good. The lagoon was right out the backdoor and the pool was very close. Great experience and good location.

Great location to explore the Keys from

We spent a wonderful 5 nights here and even before our trip, Paul was really helpful and answered all my questions. The lagoon is right outside the back door and we really enjoyed swimming in here and using the kayak at the property. We had a fabulous meal at Hobo's cafe and really recommend the breakfast at Doc's diner. The property was very comfortable and just as described, it had everything in that we needed, needs were comfy too!

Family vacation

We have stayed at this unit before. Always well stocked, clean, comfortable and a perfect location. Could see where improvements have been made from the previous year. Paul is always excellent with communication. We look forward to booking our future vacations in this unit and with this host!

Awesome snorkeling in the lagoon right behind the condo!

We had a wonderful time and found the best snorkeling in Key Largo was right behind our condo! Paul is a wonderful communicator and the condo was very comfortable! Lots of family memories were made! Thank you!

Piece of Paradise

This is our 3rd time staying at B8 in Kawama, and it never disappoints. The location is the best in Kawama as the lagoon and pool are steps outside the door. Condo is clean and the kitchen is well stocked with any utensils/appliances you may need. The marina is just a short walk. We came with friends that rented a slip for their boat at the marina there. We were able to go out snorkeling multiple days. Check out Molasses reef if you can! There are many areas restaurants to choose from. Everything is conveniently located (Gas, groceries, pharmacies, shopping, restaurants), yet Kawama gives the feel that you are in a secluded vacation spot. We did a seafood night and bought our fish at the fishery just down the road. Checking in and out is super easy. Paul is a great host and is just a phone call away if we needed anything, which we did not. Highly recommend!

Perfect Key Largo Location/ Very Nice Friendly Community/Excellent Host

Easy check in / checkout. Excellent location in Key Largo! Host had Great Communications with us with what to expect for checkin, and checkout. The community in which this townhouse resided was a perfect location within the community and Key Largo. Close to a variety of attractions, restaurants, diving. Swimming pool and swimming waterway we're located right outside the back door, and only a few minute walk to the beach. The use of a kayak belonging to the host was included as a benefit. My daughter loved swimming and kayaking in the water and feeding the Tarpon. Other than filling our bellies which there are plenty of good restaurants, bars within a 5-10 min drive. Everything we needed was included...2 bedrooms upstairs, full bath on each level, A pull out couch in the living room. Upstairs (one bedroom with a full size bed with a single bunk also in the room. The second bedroom has a king size bed and a full size futon bed. There were plenty of towels for the 6 of us, hot water, fridge, freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, microwave, and ac worked well. A laundry room was also provided, free of charge. Paul communicated perfectly with us at check in and checkout. Although we never met face to face, Paul was an Excellent Host for our Week vacation in Key Largo, we would be delighted to stay at Paul's place anytime we are in the Fl, Keys area.
