Grocery delivery services from supermarkets as well as meal delivery services (Western, Thai, etc.) are available. Some food stalls with Thai dishes, as well as some shops with groceries for everyday needs, are within walking or cycling distance.
Transportation: Public transportation is available (by phone call) from the street outside the entrance gate to Baan Sammi property, the fare to Chiang Mai is approximately 60 Baht. App-based transport service from Grab (GrabCar, GrabBike) is available, too, which is inexpensive and reliable. However, in order to be completely independent of public transportation, you can rent a car, motorbike, scooter, or bicycle, details on request.
Pets: Baan Sammi is a pet-friendly environment for outdoor pets. 1 male outdoor dog and currently approximately 5 outdoor cats live on the property, therefore these animals may occasionally roam and hang out in private garden areas. However, our dog does not allow other dogs in its territory, no matter whether male or female, large or small, and another new cat is not welcomed by either our cats or our dog. Therefore and very regrettably, guests with their own pets cannot be offered accommodation.
Suitability: This home is best suitable for a single person or a couple, who likes nature and an inspiring tranquil environment, e.g. the elderly, retirees, writers, artists, digital nomads, people on long-stay vacation and sabbatical leave.
