Beach Block located in the heart of Dewey Beach steps away from the sand! Consider this house your home away from home while you visit the beach. Our property offers an incredible amount of indoor and outdoor space for guests to relax and unwind with your family.

LIVING & KITCHEN

Totally gutted and renovated. The living area will be newly furnished with a large sectional couch and smart TV. The adjacent sunroom offers plenty of extra seating to allow guests to relax after a long day at the beach. The brand-new kitchen will have an island, dining table and patio set to provide plenty of space for eating, hanging out or playing games.

BED & BATH

This house sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms. The primary suite located on the 3rd floor has a queen-size bed, a smart TV and a private balcony. The ensuite bathroom features a brand-new walk-in shower. There are 3 bedrooms located on the 2nd floor that include 2 twin beds in each room along with a smart tv and a full bath with a brand-new tub/shower combination. The 1st floor bedroom includes 2 twin beds and a full bath with a brand-new walk-in shower for those traveling with aging parents.

OUTSIDE AREA

Private and secluded entertainment space perfect for summer barbeques on the New Weber grill. Features outside shower and foot washing station to wash off the sand between your toes.

PARKING

Parking is available for FOUR cars in a designated area of the parking lot. Additional street parking is available. Permits can be purchased for street parking between May 15th to September 15th. No permit is required at other times of the year.

MORE DETAILS

Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer. Beach chairs, beach toys and an umbrella are provided in the rental.

Parties are not permitted at this rental. We do not rent to High School Seniors, College Students or Party Groups. Families only. The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age.

House is under renovation, so the pictures reflect the layout but not the improvements that are underway. We will post updated pictures when available.

Great spot for vacation!

Great house, very spacious and clean. Wonderful location close to the beach. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We had an awesome time and would definitely rent again!

Our Family Loves This House

Things we like: Proximity to the Beach, 4 parking spaces, 5 bedrooms/ 3 baths, outdoor shower, handy storage for the beach equipment, and the proximity and quick responses from Lisa, our host. Everything is clean and in good condition. We look forward to coming back every year. McKinley is a quiet street, yet close to stores and restaurants.

Great Beach House for Families

We just passed another wonderful family vacation at Dewey. Our family loves this house on McKinley. It’s so close to the beach and also convenient to many clubs and restaurants in Dewey. We like the spaciousness, the 3 baths and 4 parking spaces, the kitchen space. And Lisa is a great host; she always responds right away to any questions. We’ve already reserved for 2024!

Wonderful vacation getaway

Photos don't do this property justice. It is immaculately clean and very comfortable steps from the beach.. With 2 balconies and a screened in porch and 5 bedrooms there is plenty of room. Small backyard is a luxury this close to the beach. Parking is great and Lisa (owner) lives in the house in front and was available at all times if anything was needed but not in a nosy way, in a very helpful. You will love this house and location.

Great location and close to the beach!

This is our first time staying at this house and I would recommend it to others! It is close to the beach (3 houses away), clean and well-maintained. It is within walking distance of many good restaurants in downtown Dewey and easy access for the trolley into Rehoboth. The owner is a pleasure to work with and very timely in getting back to you with any questions, etc. Thank you, Lisa! I would definitely rent this house again. We had a great time!

Amazing location

We rented Lisa’s property for a 2 week stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was very hot but the ac worked fabulously even on the third floor. The grill, washer and dryer were all brand new! We enjoyed evening cocktails on the third floor deck with a view of the ocean. Lisa was helpful and let us know about a local farm stand that we ended up getting all our produce from. The property location was amazing, just a 3 minute walk to the beach! We would highly recommend this property to friends.

5 Bedrooms and Only Steps Away from the Beach

As my daughter said, "This really is the perfect house." It is spacious and relaxing, with a nice big kitchen and dining areas both inside and out. We especially love its proximity to the beach. We like to put our umbrellas out early and stay late, take walks, and fish at night. Its convenience can't be beat. One tradition I might suggest is taking children to the beach in the dark to look at the ghost crabs with flashlights. They are fascinating and we do this every year- it's a short, safe walk with little ones. Lisa is a wonderful host. She answered all questions personally and quickly, and really kept us informed of the local news regarding access this spring. Her informative notes were reassuring and much appreciated.

So close to the beach!

This is a clean, comfortable, large house half a block to the beach. No streets to cross—carry your chair down to the beach and have a cup of coffee while you watch the ocean and dogs playing before 9:30 am. Then grab your beach umbrella and chair (they have some available at the house) and set up for the day. You can walk back when you need. Or walk to restaurants, coffee shops, basically anything within a few blocks. The house itself is not fancy and does not have a view, but it is comfortable, quiet despite its location so close to shops and live music, well-equipped with everything you need, and can hold a large group of family and friends. Outdoor shower is particularly nice. We were a group of adult and young adult family and friends, but would also be terrific for a group with kids. Lots of twin beds.

Dewey beach beach block

This is definitely a great location as it’s super close to the beach easy to walk back-and-forth several times a day. It says for parking spots but that was difficult I really think it’s only for parking spots if your cars are very small and it’s so much difficult to move the cars around in such a tight space. The master bathroom does not have a shower nor a movable piece on the tub so very difficult to use my husband had to use the downstairs showers as it’s difficult to get your head under the Faucet. The porch off the master bedroom is really lovely though and a nice private space to have your coffee or enjoy the breeze. The screened in porch is nice too bad it doesn’t have a door to the backyard where the grill is as you have to walk around to the front door I felt like that space was pretty but really underutilized because there was no way to get there unless you walked outside of the front of the house with the food to do the grilling . Overall you cannot beat the location being so close to the beach keep in mind that all the bedrooms have twin beds so it’s ideal for one family with kids that want to bring friends. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Location!

The location of this property really makes it one of the best stays in Dewey. My family of four plus extended family equaling 10 all stayed very comfortably. Lisa was a great host. Thanks to her and the “Dewey Dome” we had a great vacation!

Best Beach Week Ever

Our family loves this house. It's our favorite of all the houses we've stayed at in Dewey. It's only steps from the beach, but also close to things in town. It's spacious and sunny, and besides having 5 bedrooms it has several little patios and dining areas for quiet times. The house is clean and well taken care of; we noticed several updates this year that were appreciated. Lisa is an excellent host, and always gets right back to us with questions we might have. This year we got a permit for a bonfire out on the beach, and we plan to do that again next year. It's the perfect place for a family vacation.

Perfect start to the summer

Every year we spend time down in Dewey with our family, dogs and some of the kids friends. This was our first stay at this house and we couldn’t have been happier, The house was super clean, the size was great for our group of 8 and you can’t beat the location! We can’t wait to stay again next summer!!

Excellent location

This is a half block from the ocean and a 1/2 block to stores/restaurants. The house was the perfect size for our group and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

WONDERFUL STAY !

This house is perfect for family / friends - 5 bedrooms , 3 baths and an outdoor shower ! Walk to beach and shops/ restaurants in town. Lisa is very friendly and attentive to any needs at the house. Grill in yard for cooking and fully stocked kitchen. We had a FANTASTIC week !

Great Location - Beach Block!

This house is steps away from the beach and restaurants/shops in Dewey Beach. The owners, whose house is next door, are very friendly and responsive. Property is pet friendly, so it was great having our dog with us who loved the beach and swimming in ocean. House is well equipped and AC works great (there was a heat wave during our stay). Highly recommended.

Beach House 2020

Great place, comfortable, dog friendly and easy access to beach!!! Property owner very nice and easy to communicate with. I was able to park my trailered boat at the property which was great, saved me $105 in storage fees! I will say the driveway is flanked by a fence so backing the boat in was a bit challenging! Overall though it’s a great place to spend a week at the beach!!

Family beach stay

We had a wonderful time staying in this beach house. Plenty of beach toys and chairs for the family. Lisa was very responsive and it is so close to the beach. Just what we were looking for to accommodate a large family! Would rent here again!

Great house in perfect location

This is a really nice, well-designed house for a family or small group of friends. It's half a block to the beach and half a block to a bunch of restaurants & stores, yet really quiet & private. (The house is actually in the backyard of the owner's own house.) The kitchen, living room, a bedroom & full bath is on the first floor, which was really helpful for one of my guests who has trouble walking stairs. I'd definitely rent again in the future.

Wonderful stay!

The house is in a great location, so close to the beach and the main Dewey attractions. Lisa was super responsive and helpful with every question that came up. Plenty of room for two families with kids and a grandma! The house is well equipped with everything necessary for a great stay!

Great House for Our Multi-generational Beach Vacation

My family and I try to come to Dewey Beach every year for an annual family reunion. This 5-bedroom, 3-bath (plus one great outside shower) house was perfect for us. The kitchen is big and well-equipped, with lots of counter space allowing for several cooks at once. There are small patios and decks around the house that allow for little groups to gather privately, to visit and catch up. Our teens particularly liked the screened deck off the kitchen for playing games, and the same spot worked well in the mornings for my son, who works from home and brought his computer along to stay in touch. 15 McKinley is just 3 or 4 places from the beach. It's really convenient and safe to run back to the house for snack or bathroom breaks. Also, if you like to get out early for that eastern sunrise-- the proximity is such an incentive to get out of bed and go for it! Added to all this, the house is beautiful, has a spacious layout, and is well-maintained. Everyone loved their mattresses and had a good night's sleep. Plus, Lisa was right next door to answer our questions. My children and I agreed, this was one of our best beach weeks ever. Thank you, Lisa!
