OsoBlu Yurts Group Booking
All five yurts. One unforgettable gathering.
Imagine arriving one golden evening at Oso Blu--your group’s every worry left behind as you pass through the gate and step onto the sweeping grounds that hold five round, golden-roofed yurts, each cradled on a hillside above a meadow and in the mountain light. You’ve taken over every yurt here—an exclusive retreat just for your group—and as you cross the 40-foot gathering deck, you sense: this trip is going to be a memory-maker.
Walking inside any of these yurts feels like stepping into a marriage of nature and comfort. You find lofty wood beams rising overhead, their warm symmetry guiding your gaze upward, encouraging you to pause and breathe.
Each yurt contains...
- Two large private bedrooms anchor the space.
- A children’s loft or overflow sleeping area provides a cozy nook above, perfect for whispering stories after dark.
- A full kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher) is stocked with everything you need to feed a party of 12: pots, pans, spatulas, dishes, utensils, baking gear, even children’s plates and cups.
- The bathroom is generous: a large walk-in shower, two private toilets, dual sinks, and a full washer/dryer setup (laundry soap provided) make staying here easy.
- A 55-inch HD TV and fireplace provide warmth and entertainment when the mountain air closes in.
- Heating, ceiling fans, floor fans, and a swamp cooler work together, though the yurts still breathe—temperatures may shift with the day and night. Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 7 am.
Though each yurt shares this blueprint, their decor gives them character. The Cisco is sprinkled with playful fish motifs, The Ute pays homage to the native inhabitants, The Black Bear honors the valley’s wild predator, The Rendezvous nods to the historic fur trade gatherings at Bear Lake’s southern shore, and The Pioneer evokes the spirit of the area's early settlers.
Shared Magic & Communal Moments
Because you have all five yurts, your group’s togetherness is built in. The 40-foot round gathering deck becomes your stage: morning coffee circles, sunset toasts, shared starlit stories around the fire table.
At mealtime, you’ll drift between yurts or congregate in one to cook, laugh, and savor time without hurry. When the evening wind hums and the sky goes dark, the yurts’ domed shape invites you to lie back and watch constellations wheel overhead—a reminder that you’re tucked into a realm where sky, mountains, and water meet.
During the day, venturing out is effortless. You're close to the beach, the bike path, restaurants, and water adventures on Bear Lake itself.
And yet home—your yurt home—is never far. You’ll return to echoes of laughter in timber halls, lingering scent of fires, and the gentle presence of the small farm that OsoBlu fosters: miniature donkeys, goats, ducks, and chickens roam the periphery under Leo’s care. Guests often get to learn, watch, or feed—another thread connecting you to this place. Bear Lake Rental
A Story to Tell...
On the final night, imagine this: after a long day kayaking, hiking, and tasting raspberry shakes, you convene on the gathering platform. The lake beneath glows in the moonlight; one yurt offers popcorn and a movie, another filters soft light through windows; somewhere, the deer graze quilety in the distance. Your whole group—maybe ten, maybe twenty—clinks mugs, leans back, and feels the hush of the mountains surround you. Tomorrow you’ll leave, but tonight, you’re entirely here.
This is more than a rental. With all five yurts, OsoBlu becomes your private glamping village—where every laugh echoes, every story finds a corner, and the land itself becomes part of your memory.
Note: Buyout reservations are available seasonally from May-September.
