Best house I have stayed in from VRBO to date

I have had the pleasure of staying in around 9 houses through VRBO over the years and while all have been good, this was the best I have stayed in yet. It was clean, well maintained in a nice neighborhood that felt like home. I was in Houston for a conference downtown and the commute was not hard at all. I was travelling alone and had a fair amount of idle time to spend in the house and fully enjoyed the extensive TV entertainment available to me and the large TV. Had I had companions, there were at least 3 other TV's to boot. If I return to Houston, I will hope to revisit.

Nice property! Excellent hosts! Good location!

We stayed here for Ironman Texas which was in the Woodlands. The location is good for accessing both the Woodlands and downtown Houston - we made several trips to both in the week that we were there. The hosts were very responsive at all stages of the process and were extremely quick to refund the damage deposit. The property had all the comforts of a house with the amenities of a serviced apartment e.g. bottles of water, toiletries, etc. It was clean and very functional for our family with three kids including a toddler. Safety gate on the first floor to block off the living area from the steps was a real winner for us, and we spent a bunch of time out on the back deck. The community also has a great little playground for the kids to use. Thanks for your hospitality!

so many things were wrong with this place. the place was dirty. there was actually dried poop on the toilet. the back deck had broken boards so was unsafe. they only had a keurig with no pods so i actually bought a cheap coffee maker and coffee which was cheaper than buying pods. the neighborhood was fine and it was quiet and thank goodness the AC worked, very grateful for that. the carpet had food ground in on the stairs. it was a great place if only it had been cared for and cleaned.

Home away from home

Entire reservation, check In and check out processes were seamless and easy. The home was clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Lots of conveniently close dining, healthcare and other shopping. Excellent place to stay.

This property was great for the short stay. There could be a few more household items available but communication with the host was amazing so I'm sure you can get whatever you need.

Great home away from home!

We stayed at this house for two months after relocating from overseas. Can’t say enough great things about our time and the hospitality that James showed us. The house had more than enough space for our family of 4, including two young children. The extra upstairs space was great for a play room away from the main living area. TV’s with Roku (Netflix, prime, etc) available in every room, gas grill available to use on the large backyard deck and a great neighborhood playground just around the corner that we used on a daily basis. Great location with Walmart and HEB grocery just around the corner as well as easy access to 45 and 99. If you are looking for a home away from home, whether it’s for the weekend or for longer term, I would highly recommend staying here!

Spacious Home

Beautiful and spacious home. Very relaxing stay. Enjoyed the bbq and games. AC was nice and cold throughout the home. Communication with the owners was perfect. Location was great. We had a wonderful vacation!

Lovely home. Close to our venue. Useful kitchen items would have been foil or cookie sheet to make oven accessible. Also, chairs for wonderful deck would be great.

With 10 adults the house was perfect. Bedrooms and bedroom closets were spacious. Plenty of kitchen space. The house had an openness to it. A great outside deck. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The owners were very responsive to my questions when I was considering booking the house. I would definitely stay here again

Great time in a comfortable and spacious home

Our family of five stayed at this spacious five bedroom home during the Christmas period. What can I say , it was just perfect for us . The kids ages 16, 14 & 12, Loved the upstairs of this home wich has another sitting room upstairs. There were some games available for the kids to play. And all the rooms were quiet spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook nice meals for ourselves. I must add that there is a Walmart very close by, which turned out to be very useful for us grocery wise. James was very helpful and detailed. Sending us all the necessary instructions to us on time. Which made live easier. There was also a welcome note for our family on a decorative kitchen board, which I found particularly charming. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay in this property and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We won’t hesitate to book it again the next time we are in Texas.

Spring 4 bedroom home, conveniently located

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. We did need more linens, but they were promptly provided when asked. The homeowners provided a high chair and pack n play prior to our visit since we had a toddler! Very thoughtful. Thank you for a lovely visit!!

Average House Needs Additional amenities

The house served my purpose perfectly. I have rented numerous times on VRBO and this was the least appealing house I have ever used. Although it completely met my needs I was disappointed that it was lacking some amenities I have come to expect from other VRBO rentals. There were no bedside tables with lamps. To me that is something that one would consider a necessity. The linens were minimal although when called the owner did immediately bring over needed linens. Lastly, the kitchen was equipped in a fair fashion. The lack of a skillert larger than 6 inches was problematic--I had to immediately go out and buy a skillet and large pot. There was no baking sheet. These items one would expect in a house. This house would have been outstanding with just those few items. An outlay of less than $1,000 would make this house a great house.
