Cozy 2-Story Cabin on Pond with Dock on a Spacious Homestead Retreat

Welcome to FlyAway Retreat! Nestled in the trees along the country roads outside city limits yet only 15 minutes from downtown Canton. This secluded cabin on our 65 acre property is a well appointed 1 bedroom, 1 bath, loft style cabin featuring two queen beds in the upstairs loft, a twin over twin trundle daybed in the living room along with a clawfoot tub full bath off the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, range, full sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. The living area offers a 3D massage chair, wall mounted television, and a leather sofa. You will want to relax on the covered front porch and enjoy the serenity of the country atmosphere and the pond only steps away. A few more feet away is the covered dock where you can take in the country woods, feed the ducks and fish, or just enjoy a cup of coffee on the outdoor sofa and chairs.

The cabin shares the property with our main house and family so we are here if something comes up but you will have plenty of space to yourselves.

Along with the secluded wooded setting, we have lots of animals and livestock running around. The ducks will be checking in on you, we have several Great Pyrenees dogs that take care of the property and we have several dozen chickens, roosters and turkeys roaming the yard. Across the pond - and maybe right over the fence behind the cabin, you'll probably catch sight of our miniature sheep, donkeys and horses. They are very friendly and are always happy to take any extra carrots or apples off your hands! We often have a quiet experience here broken up from time to time with the sounds of roosters, donkeys or the ranch dogs keeping the predators away. If you're looking for the sounds of country life, you're coming to the right place.

Our pond is fully stocked so bring your fishing gear and enjoy the private fishing grounds!

Things to know:
-Parking is on a designated spot off the main driveway with about a 250ft walk to the cabin. It's mostly level ground with the last 200ft being a paved path.
-The cabin and property is not ADA / elderly friendly.
-No pets
-Be prepared for animal and wildlife noises. You will hear chickens, roosters, dogs and possibly the occasional coyote and the donkeys braying, It's their way of saying hello or alerting of predators.
