The Space:
You'll be only 150 yards from a fantastic Kiawah beach in a second-floor Mariners Watch villa featuring a screened porch with views of a lagoon! Start your morning with a fresh cup of coffee and your favorite novel on the bench swing out on the patio. You'll love the tranquil nature sounds you hear from the lagoon mixed with the gentle rhythm of the ocean surf. The interior is open and homey, with lots of natural light and a welcoming atmosphere. Use the kitchen for cooking a romantic dinner for two or a hearty lunch for a full day of sun and sand. Snuggle up on the sofa with someone you love to enjoy your favorite shows on the cable TV, then head out for a moonlight walk along the shoreline.

Cougar Point and Turtle Point Golf Courses are less than three miles away if you need to get in some great golfing. If you're in town to visit the East Beach Conference Center, it is less than one mile away. Foodies can try out some local fare at favorites such as Hege's, less than five miles away, or Loggerhead Grill, just under one mile away. Night Heron Park Nature Center is only a mile away for animal lovers to enjoy. You can plan a boating adventure at Bohicket Marina, around five miles away, or go farther into historic downtown Charleston approximately 25 miles away, for a day of pirate tours, art exhibits, live music, restaurants, history tours, and lots of family fun.

This condo was the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. The location couldn’t have been better—close to the beach, yet still peaceful and quiet. The space had everything I needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable furnishings. It was clean, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. I left feeling refreshed and would absolutely return!

Great Location

Overall, great stay in Kiawah and we had a pleasant stay for the weekend. The bathroom is tiny but we knew that going in. The check in and check out process was very easy. I would recommend replacing the bedroom carpet as I felt it was really dirty. The bathroom could use a little TLC as well. other than that, we had a great stay.

Nice place ..with some glaring shortcomings

Clean..nicely decorated..convenient..met our needs..couldn’t enter property upon arrival because of no instructions for the unusual type of door lock..many electrical outlets dead..all 4 on outdoor porch..several dead in bedroom necessitating us buying an extension cord to use bedroom..no,GFI in bathroom…dim lighting in living room..couldn’t read there at night..no Keurig coffee maker for this 2 person place..just not a first class facility

Good location

The location of the villa was wonderful. The villa itself is very dated and the cleaning company was in the villa for less than 30 minutes. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets when we went to use them.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Disgusting, dirty, musty and not at all updated. The only good quality was the 3 minute walk to the beach. All bed linens and towels were laundered in a highly fragrant detergent that was extremely overwhelming. Old plastic plants decorated the Villa. Food cabinets and drawers old, musty, unlined and unorganized, didn't want to use any kitchen stuff. Screened Porch, bug scattered and unwelcoming.

Relaxing in Kiawah

Very clean unit within a short walk to the beach. Unit had everything you needed for a nice enjoyable stay.

False Advertising and terrible customer service

This property advertises that it accommodates four people. I called multiple times prior to my visit to confirm that we would have bedding for the sleeper sofa since there would be four of us. I was assured that we would. When we got there, there were no linens for the sofa and no extra towels for four people. I texted the entire time I was there with Vacasa and was repeatedly told how sorry they were and they were getting in touch with the local personnel. Long story short, I heard from the “local” staff on Sunday (after getting there on Thursday and the day we were leaving) that the sleeper sofa was not for sleeping but if we wanted it for sleeping, there was a $25 charge. We are requesting a full refund. We came to Kiawah for a wedding and I spent way too much time trying to get Vacasa or VRBO to provide what they promised and actually “accommodate four adults” as listed on the website.

Cozy Condo

This is beautiful, cozy condo that was perfect for a romantic weekend get away. The condo was just perfect for too. The screened in balcony was a wonderful place foe breakfast. Beach access was right across the street, and there are several adventures on the island. But it is also 30-45 minutes to downtown Charleston if you want to have a great day that turns into an evening put.

Old, tired property.

Listing indicated 2nd story…did not mention the 23 rough wooden stairs to get to property. Carpet was old & dirty. We left after only 2 days.

Great place to stay

Nice place, just like the pictures, easy walk to the beach, loved every minute. Nice restaurant and shopping close by.

Great location

The unit is a little older, but still worked for us for a short get away to the island. Excellent location for beach access! Loved the porch with the swing! Would book this one again!

Decent Kiawah rental unit

This unit is a little newer/nicer than many Kiawah rental units. Still somewhat old, but it was perfectly clean and everything worked correctly. Well stocked with dishes etc.

Great location!

This property worked out great for us - nice view of the lagoon and so close to the beach. The townhouse was well-equipped and very comfortable.

Perfect weekend getaway

This condo was everything we needed for a long weekend. It was perfect for two people. It is small but I didn’t plan to cook on such a short trip. Super clean. A short walk to the gorgeous beach! The porch swing was awesome. I drank coffee on the swing and listened to the birds in the morning while watching the wildlife in the lagoon. Definitely will go again!

Girls long weekend

Wonderful weather for an October getaway but the spectacular views on this property added SO much more to our long weekend on the beach. This was my 1st time ever looking for/getting a VACA and was surprised at the added $ for fees / taxes to the total cost. On entering the place it smelled musty ( maybe put those car vent air fresheners in the air conditioner vents...just a suggestion) Was beyond pleased with the space, location, and surroundings.

Pictures are deceiving

The online pictures of this property are without a doubt photo-shopped/ have a filter to make this condo appear newer, brighter, and cleaner than it actually is. The unit is old and could use some updates. Within 24 hours we stepped on a roach in the kitchen. While the property manager was quick to respond, their solution was a can of Raid which a runner dropped off and sprayed around the kitchen area (apparently contractors, including exterminators, are not allowed on the island on the weekends). There was also a clear garbage bag of dirty towels and linens that sat outside our front door for three days from the unit next door after their guests departed. Check in and check out process was straightforward and simple. While the proximity to the beach was nice, I will not be back to this property, and would not recommend as I'm sure there are nicer options on Kiawah.

Roaches and issues with Vacasa

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Our only issue was with not getting the park pass sent to us and having to contact Vacasa regarding this issuw. Then there was the incorrect information in our welcome email regarding having two entry codes to be sent to us when there is actually only one code for this unit. Thos info should be updated for future guests. Also there were two dead roaches found in the unit.

The place was very clean. It is nicely located and I would highly recommend it. The fan and light in the bedroom did not work. I text Vacasa to let them know. Nothing was done. I did not call however .It might have been fixed then. But I learned texting Vacasa is a waste.

Peaceful retreat

The villa was a peaceful retreat located within walking distance to the beach and the porch was adjacent to the lagoon. There was a problem with the garbage disposal, and there weren't any sheets or blankets for the pull out sofa. All in all I would highly recommend this location.
