The Space:
This efficient and homey little Mariners Watch villa, with lagoon views available from its screened-in porch and living area, is the perfect place to start your Kiawah Island adventures! Whether you're having your first cup of morning coffee or your second glass of evening wine, you'll love enjoying it out on the porch amid the sounds of lagoon nature and pounding ocean surf. Be sure to take advantage of the kitchen to prepare a romantic dinner for two then head out for a moonlit walk under a canopy of starlight. When you get back, cuddle up in the super-comfy couch to binge-watch your favorite shows on the flatscreen cable TV.

What’s nearby:
You’re only a short walk from the beach and just across the street from the recreational area, Night Heron Park (700 yards away) where you’ll find basketball courts, a nature center, disc golf course, soccer field, and some large grassy areas to enjoy some sunny picnics. Bike or walk on over 30 miles of paved nature trails that will take you across the island. Freshfields Village is only four miles away and boasts boutiques, grocery stores, and lots of great activities like live music, film screenings, and art exhibits. Bohicket Marina (only 5 miles away) offers local dining, chartered fishing boats, and all kinds of fun seasonal events. About 25-miles away, you'll find downtown Charleston where you can enjoy shopping, fine dining, and local history tours

I loved the property. It just seemed outdated on the inside. I don’t have complaints because we enjoyed our stay but renovating or at least upgrading tv and getting rid of early 2000’s stereo might help. Like I said, I had a great stay. Just a suggestion for future residents

Too short a weekend

Place was very clean and spacious. Most of all the bed slept great with soft sheets and towels. You can sit on the screened porch and watch the wildlife in the lagoon. I would recommend staying there

This was a work trip for us…

..and we weren’t needing a vacation experience. The property was furnished as described and clean. Entry to the unit was easy and the location was ideal.

Great condo by the beach

Everything was pretty much exactly like the listing showed. It was exactly what we needed and we had a very nice time staying so close to the beach! Walk to the beach and to Nest/Night Heron Park was even closer than expected. Thank you for a great trip!

Great location - Unit needs an upgrade

The location is perfect, short walk (2-3 minutes) from the beach and Night Heron park. Unit was clean but is really dated (they have a tape deck and VHS video player!). Furnishings and kitchen from the 80s. This is my second experience with the property managers VACASA and I will look to avoid them in the future. The communication between their HQ and local agents is poor and you feel like they’re doing you a favor for even the simplest of requests.

We enjoyed our stay on the island. The condo had a great location to the beach. It was clean but needs some TLC the bathroom needs to be totaly updated.

Great rental

Easy access to beach and nature center. Also a store and restaurant within easy walking distance. Quiet and great lagoon views. No laundry soap but some was delivered quickly after I called.

This apartment was simple and comfortable. We wanted to be in a place we could relax and easily get to the beach. Walking distance from the beach, easy drive to shopping. Would stay here again.

Easy stroll to beach + right on bike path

Perfect for me and my husband to get away to the beach for the weekend. Easy walk to beach and there is a bathroom at the beginning of the boardwalk so super convenient. We took our own bikes and enjoyed riding on the paths and we even rode over to Sea Brook. Condo is basic, not fancy which was fine as we spent most of our time outdoors. We cooked dinner 3 nights and found the cookware to be sufficient. There are large pots to boil seafood and pasta. No condiments: take salt, oil, and coffee filters!

Great location

Hats off to the Cleaning Crew! This condo was spotless. Positives for this condo: Clean, A/C was nice and cool, water for showers hot, walls recently painted and best of all only 2 minute walk to the beach! That having been said, the condo could use some updating. I would venture to guess to the tub fixtures, bath vanity and kitchen counters are original from 1980..making them over 40 years old. The carpet could be updated as well. But all in all--comfortable and clean and close to the beach.

Great location

The location was perfect for us. Easy access to beach, market and The Sanctuary. Only downside is the unit is outdated. Because of this, it seems a bit dirty. A simple bathroom upgrade of the tile and fixtures and kitchen cabinets would make the place so much more charming.

Excellent spot for our get-away!

The whole renting process was smooth with no problems. Vacasa folks stayed in close touch with numbers to call had there been a problem.
