Evenings are best spent unwinding with a soothing soak in the primary bathroom's tub or rocking gently in a chair with a good book while taking in the sea breeze. After a day of sun and sand, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower. A private washer and dryer make it easy to keep swimsuits fresh, while high-speed internet ensures you stay connected throughout your stay. Located near a variety of local attractions, you'll have easy access to the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier, Salty Pirate Waterpark, Emerald Isle Woods Park, Lost Treasure Golf & Raceway, and the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Very close to beach walking distance. Lived the access. Bedrooms and bathrooms adequate, dated. Kitchen provisions really lacking. No pots and pans worth cooking in (except one) all other pans, skillets had rust in them. No potholders to handle hot pans. The realty company did provide a new grill which we took total advantage of.

Nice place walking distance to the beach

Easy access to the beach, beds were comfortable, the place was a bit old but had tons of room and worked for our small family, would rent again next year.

Super Cute

Great Place

House is bright and airy with ocean views! Comfy queen bed. Can not beat the location, close to shops, cinema, bike rentals and many other attractions. The kitchen is well equipped, with supplies left for us to use. Will be renting again next Spring!

Perfect Emerald Isle location

We have stayed here three times so far and absolutely love it. Emerald Isle is quaint and quiet with lots of great restaurants and grocery stores that you can easily ride your bike to from this house. Lots of room and everything you need for a perfect vacation. House is just across the street from public access. Just a quick three minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend staying here for the price.

Fall beach trip

We had a wonderful stay in this nice house. It was bright, clean and had everything we needed. The weather was perfect. We loved the decks with the ocean view and enjoyed the rocking chairs. The only suggestion for improvement would be to put blinds on the window in the master bathroom for some privacy and in the kitchen to keep the hot sunshine out. We’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and property!

The proximity to the beach is excellent. We could see, hear, and easily walk to the ocean. Home had the essentials we needed however it is not a chef's kitchen. If you plan to cook, come prepared with salt, pepper, etc. There is also is not any provided beach gear so you'll need chairs, umbrella, cart... But overall, highly recommend the property. We had a fantastic stay!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a comfortable clean home with convenient beach access. Everything was great, we just wished the kitchen was better stalked. We were surprised to find that there wasn’t even salt and pepper or non glass cups for kids. Could have used more bar wear. My husband used a coffee cup for his whiskey all week. Besides that slight hiccup, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend.

Perfect location

5 minute walk to the beach allowed us to come back for lunch each day. Lovely view of the ocean. My kids loved the multiple bunk beds. Beds were comfortable. AC and WiFi worked well. Outdoor shower was a plus. Plenty of bath towels. Kids also enjoyed puzzles and games in the closet. There was salt and pepper and coffee filters, but no other spices or cooking basics. The dishwasher wasn't the best so we ended up hand washing our dishes.

Managing maintenance issues

Location very near beach access. Not on the ocean, but you can see a bit of ocean from front balcony. Door to top balcony wouldn't open, they were unable to fix. In trying to fix it, a lubricant was added to the doors which made the whole house smell the rest of the time. Then the downstairs sliding door wouldn't lock (it was before) so I had to call out maintenance again. Rocking chairs were very old and one broke the first night. They were replaced the next day. Had to communicate through VBRO, text and multiple phone calls to get everything fixed. It was a lot of work for being on vacation!
