For those looking to explore, bikes are available for use (adults with drivers license) at your own risk, and an air pump station is provided for your convenience.

Hatteras village remains the most original of the island's seven villages. Many of the residents still make their livings from the sound and sea. The island's charter fleet to the Gulf Stream and into the Pamlico Sound is headquartered in Hatteras. The island's premier restaurants and fish shops have the first choice of the freshest catch. Be sure to schedule a visit to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and a trip to Ocracoke Island via the free ferry. Rent a golf cart for your relaxing week, or if you have access to a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, the ramp to beach driving (permit required) in the park is located at the south end of the village.

Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.
