New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Waves Crest, Islander Condos Unit 17-B, is a well-maintained top-floor suite that offers elevated views of both the ocean and the shared pool. Enjoy watching the ocean from the private sun deck, primary bedroom, or great room. Comfortable, quiet, and well-furnished throughout, you'll appreciate the beautiful decor as well as the 65-inch smart TV in the great room and newer TVs in both bedrooms. The wooden walkway and walkover stairs make beach access a breeze. Hot and cold outdoor showers under the building, a barbecue grill, a picnic table, and a fish-cleaning table complete the picture. This home is just a mile from the local grocery and hardware store and even closer to great restaurants and shops. Come stay at Waves Crest and get ready for some amazing Outer Banks fun!

Please Note: As a barrier island, Hatteras is constantly changing. Beach conditions, dunes, and access points may vary due to erosion, restoration projects, weather, and other environmental factors.

We really enjoyed the condo. It had a lot of steps to get to the third floor, but we didn't mind because it was good exercise. It was clean and well stocked. Easy access to the beach and pier. Lots of good restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone.

The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. Short walk to the beach, great location on Avon close to everything. Perfect for our family vacation.

I would have assigned a five-star rating; however, the significant number of steps presented a challenge for older retirees. Specifically, the ascent of 63 steps proved to be quite demanding, particularly when transporting luggage, groceries, or similar items. As a result, we chose to reduce our vacation duration from seven nights to four nights, as we had reached our limit regarding the steps. Nonetheless, I would like to commend the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere of both the condominium and the surrounding grounds.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The apartment unit was just as described. We had a great time at the Outer Banks and we enjoyed our stay at Waves Crest. We will be sure to reserve this unit again for the next time we visit.

We didn't use the pool, my niece walked the beach everyday, unfortunately, because of some health issues I was unable to get to the beach. Ocean viewa are good, except for the condo building blocking directly in front of our building.

Very pleasant getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our nice long weekend. The condo was very nice and peaceful, and we had plenty of room. We were very pleased with it. The only slight downside was the walk up the stairs. We stayed on the 3rd level and it was alot of stairs to climb especially if you wanted to go out more than once a day.

Sisters Trip!

This was our very first sisters trip!! I have been coming to the outerbanks for years , but this was a first time for my sisters. The condo was absolutely perfect for our stay, size was perfect for the 3 of us and the water view was even better than I imagined it would. W! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need for our short stay. My sisters fell in love with the outerbanks and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Excellent home and great rental experience. Prime roof deck with ocean and sound views. We watched many sunsets and a sunrise! The hot tub was a nice bonus, and the new kitchen appliances were great, though cookware was average as on would expect in a rental home.
