Welcome to Starfish Cottage! This exceptional 4BR/3BA home features 1,201 square feet of living space, including a newly renovated kitchen. Enjoy amazing ocean views and breezes from the open or covered back deck. The level you enter is charmingly elevated on stilts and is accessible via a lovely set of stairs, with a cozy garage tucked underneath. There's delightful decking off the back that invites you to the private swimming pool, perfect for relaxation. Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire house, making it a wonderful getaway! Just a minute's walk to the beach!

LIVING AREA

Relax in a bright, charming living area with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. Unwind with the family and watch a movie on the 50 flat-screen TV. Ocean views are available from almost any window in the home.

KITCHEN & DINING

The freshly renovated kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked to accommodate all your favorite recipes.

Sit down for a special dinner at the dining table with seating for six or at the breakfast bar with seating for four.

BED & BATH

The home sleeps up to nine guests in four bedrooms (king, king, queen, full-size, and twin). Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV.

All bedrooms have access to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. An additional full bath off the main living area provides added convenience.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Rock the day away on the large front deck while enjoying the ocean breeze and beautiful views of Ocean Isle. The back porch is a combination of both a covered and an uncovered area enjoy a drink or a light meal while admiring the ocean vistas.

Take advantage of the gas grill and cookout next to the unheated pool. Dine alfresco at the picnic table on the pool deck.

The backyard is fenced for privacy, and an outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer/dryer, as well as board and card games.

Parking is available for four cars (two in the garage and two in the driveway). Street parking is not permitted.

Condo location was perfect for quick beach access, especially since we had our dog with us! Condo was neat and put together upon arrival and the rental company was easy to work with when a minor issue with the streaming services offered arose. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend!

Peace, quiet and the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this off-the-beaten-path location! The beach was a few minutes away, almost no traffic to speak of, and the neighbors were nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here in the future!

Location was great. Wifi was strong and stable. Furniture was nice and plush. Interior paint needed some attention. A pod coffee machine would have been nice, only had drip coffee maker. Bathroom tub had mold/mildew in it. Check in/out instructions from Vacasa were contradictory.

Check out confusion

Very dated condo. Quite uncomfortable bed… much too soft. Living room furniture has holes in it. Paid extra $25 for late checkout and received email stating we had to be out at 1000am, the original time.

Great location, no frills

The condo is as described. Furniture could use some upgrades as the cushions are sinking in and mattresses are lumpy.On first look place seemed pretty clean until we went to bed. When we pulled the comforters back there was black dog hair all over the sheets. I think the sheets were clean, I think the previous vacationers had a black dog whose hair was all over the comforters (or this is what I’m telling myself). Thankfully we had brought our own sheets and blankets (I couldn’t find in the description that they were provided), so I quickly changed the sheets and used our own blankets. The water doesn’t get very hot, so showers were luke warm and I guess the washer wouldn’t drain so a service man showed up w/o us knowing to drain the washer. The previous people must have reported this and nothing was communicated. The lock on the front door was tricky…could be user error but it took us several tries every time we unlocked the door. All in all, the condo served its purpose and we enjoyed a few days of R&R at the beach. (Just glad we had our own sheets as you can’t get in touch with anyone at Vacasa quickly).
