The house is beautiful and walking distance to the beach. It was very important that we found a vacation rental that was dog friendly, and this place was perfect with a fully fenced backyard. The elevator in the house definitely helped when packing suitcases up to the bedrooms from the bottom floor! The pool and hot tub were clean and ready to use upon arrival. There were multiple options for dinner close by and we found a few cute little road side shops. My only complaint was the showers weren't super clean, but they weren't awful either. Overall I'd definitely stay here again!

Home needs help

Sadly things promised were not working. No help with requested assistance. Could be a good home if thoroughly cleaned and repaired.

"Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Rosemary. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and that the promised amenities were not functioning during your stay. I understand how disappointing it can be when things don’t work as they should, especially when you’re looking forward to a relaxing getaway. I also apologize for the lack of assistance you experienced when you reached out for help. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your comments about the cleanliness and repairs needed in the home are invaluable, and I will ensure they are shared with our team for immediate review. We want to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests, and I regret that we fell short in this instance. Thank you again for your input, and I hope we can have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a much-improved stay."

Cozy beach house

Fully stocked with everything you need! Comfortable beds! Extremly short walk to a beach access! Apparently there aren't allowed any golf carts unless they are tagged (license plate). We only brought ours because my mom just had surgery. My husband talked to the cops. Explained the situation. They were awesome! They sat where we had to cross the road to make sure we were safe. They were amazing! I called the rental company to report something minor. They came the next morning to take care of it. They also called the day we were arriving to make sure we had a safe trip in.

Unsafe and dirty

The photos of this property must have been taken prior to anyone ever staying here. The house was in disarray, with water damage, mold growing on ceilings, the fridge, and items found in the kitchen. The spindles on the banister for the stairs were falling out and a small child could have very easily fallen through. The fridge, stove, vaccum, and multiple chairs were broken, along with the hot tub not being available for use during our stay. On top of this, the house was filthy when we arrived, and they had to bring in an emergency cleaning crew who attempted to clean the main living area and kitchen. I have stayed in many rental homes over the years and I am sad to say that this one was by far the dirtiest upon arrival. That being said, if the house gets a good cleaning, and some TLC, it could be a very nice place to stay with easy beach access. But until that happens, it was not worth the money we paid.

Nice house, bad management/housekeeping

On entering the house, we found: Dog hair on all rugs and bedding. Dog urine in multiple rooms on floor. Food crumbs in kitchen (floor, counters, table). Poop in toilets. Multiple hairs in every shower. Hot tub cover was upside down and had a vape on it. Attempted to call local and phone number on arrival due to cleanliness issues. Left messages with no response ever received. Messaged via trip manager and text number. Both requested photos, which I immediately sent. I was told someone local would contact me ASAP. No one ever contacted me. I was finally able to talk to someone 2 days later, when I called AGAIN. I did finally get a call from local management after that, when we were issued a VERY small refund. 6 of us scrubbed the house and rewashed all bedding before we would unpack. Such a waste because the house was actually quite nice, close to beach access, beds were comfortable and outdoor spaces/screened porch were great.

We enjoyed a fabulous time for our family vacation in North Topsail Beach. It perfectly suited us with 10 adults, 6 children from ages 16 years to 16 months, and two dogs. Everyone was very comfortable in this recently built home. The kitchen was great and well equipped for the most part. (They could have used a few more tea spoons and the crockpot was cracked and unusable.). On the other hand they had two coffee makers, one was a drip and the other a Keurig. The AC worked very well, and we loved the convenience of an elevator, especially when moving in and moving out. It was also nice when bringing in groceries. The family enjoyed the pool as well as the hot tub. Several had fun playing on the put-put hole beside the pool. The proximity to the beach was amazing and this stretch of beach was not crowded at all. We had such a good time, we’ve already reserved a week at the same house for next year!
