Nestled on 165 private acres on Bay Lake, you'll enjoy the best of both lake and land just 10 miles from Crosby and the renowned Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails.

Fall is an especially beautiful time to visit, with vibrant fall colors surrounding the property, crisp mornings by the lake, and evenings spent around the bonfire or relaxing beside the large fieldstone fireplace. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or an extended stay, the peaceful setting provides the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with family, friends, or colleagues.

Enjoy direct lake access to Bay Lake for fishing, pontoon rides, and water sports. Our property is located in one of the lake's premier swimming bays, with crystal-clear water reaching depths of 35 feet just 100 yards from the dock. A scenic five-minute boat ride will take you to a nearby sandbar, making it easy to spend the day exploring the lake.

Property was perfect for our large family to spend time together! It was very clean with lots of space. The amenities this property has to offer kept us comfortable and busy our entire stay. Lots to do not only on the property but in the area. Beautiful and we hope to stay again!

Our family reunion with 17 people was seamless and very enjoyable! The pool was a huge hit with the kids, we were able to tie down our fishing boat for lots of easy fishing access just across the highway from the house, the beds were comfortable, every room was very clean, instructions for various amenities were provided via QR codes, and checkout procedures were a breeze.We golfed at nearby Ruttger’s, jumped on a private fishing launch on Mille lacs, and made quick trips to local stores and shops when the rain came.Grateful for the great communication with our host, the warm welcome from the property manager, and a wonderful experience overall. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We had an incredible stay at the Deerwood property and can't recommend it enough. Check-in was a breeze, and being walked around the property at the start was such a helpful touch. The place was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was remarkable: it's fully equipped right down to the kitchen utensils and cutlery, so we never once found ourselves needing a thing. The pool was absolutely amazing, the perfect setup for a group our size, with so many things to do and plenty of space to relax. The kids especially loved fishing off the dock. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but the property genuinely matches the price; everything felt polished and well cared for, top to bottom. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Family Getaway!We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been happier with the property. Every year, we plan a special getaway with our kids and grandkids, and this year there were 14 of us altogether. This home worked perfectly for our entire family.The pool was a huge hit, and having direct access to the lake for fishing was a real treat. We caught plenty of fish and had a great time on the water. We also had a lot of fun with the pickleball court, which gave everyone another activity to enjoy together.The trails through the woods were another great feature. We loved being able to take the grandkids on hikes and explore the property together. The entire setting feels very private and peaceful, and we really enjoyed ending our days gathered around the fire pit.One of the biggest surprises was how spacious the house was. It felt much larger in person than the pictures conveyed, with plenty of room for the different families and all of the kids to spread out and be comfortable.Overall, this was a fantastic place for our annual family getaway. Between the pool, fishing, pickleball, hiking trails, fire pit, and spacious home, there was always something for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, it gave us a wonderful place to spend time together and make some great family memories. We would definitely recommend this property to other families and would happily stay here again. Five stars!

The pictures dont do the house and land justice! Beautiful home with so many amenities to keep everyone in the family entertained. Simple check in process with the property manager meeting us at check in for a run through of everything! Only thing that could of made this weekend better was less rain

5-Star Family Paradise on Bay Lake: The Ultimate Deerwood Getaway!Our group of 17 just returned from a magical 5-night stay in Deerwood, MN. This stunning home hosted our large family with effortless style and comfort.The crown jewel is the large swimming pool. With a shallow end for the little ones and plenty of depth for jumping, it was our family hub. Stocked with toys and floaties, featuring large canopies for shade, multipe loungers and a table, built for all-day relaxation.The adventure continues across the grounds: The tennis/pickleball/BB court was a hit, and the dock provided instant fishing success for the grandkids. We loved the scenic hiking and biking trails, and our quiet morning coffees on the creek-side swing.The layout is a dream for hosting. Seven spacious bedrooms and 4 bathrooms meant we never felt cramped. The kitchen is fully equipped for large-scale meal prep, while the backyard grill and griddle made patio dinners a breeze. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit under the stars.Thoughtful details set this home apart. Fans in every bedroom and nightlights at every bunkbed ensured everyone—from the youngest to the oldest—felt comfortable and at home.Host Tiffany and property manager Jay provided world-class service. Their prompt, genuine attentiveness ensured everything ran perfectly from start to finish.For a family reunion where the memories start the moment you arrive, look no further.
