I would come back to this place! The home was spacious, the inside had a scent of fresh cut cedar and the accommodations from the grill to the already heated hot tub to the woodsy setting made this a fabulous fall weekend getaway!

This was a birthday trip for my twin sister and my 65th birthday. It was the perfect home base for our hiking trip. We had so much fun. We had a little trouble checking in when the electronic lock would not work for us. We never did get it to work with our code but thankfully Abby gave us a backup code. She was so helpful! The cabin is clean, well maintained and we enjoyed cooking each night in the well supplied kitchen. I highly recommend this rental for your stay in Hocking Hills. It is easy access to all activities!

This place was amazing! Beds were super comfortable. We loved the fact that there were enough dishes in stock that we didn't have to wash after every meal. Hot tub, shuffleboard, cornhole tournament and hiking trails, what more could you ask for? Host was super responsive and helpful. Great experience!

Great house and a great location for hocking hills! Host was very kind and very quick to respond. Air conditioning worked amazing on a couple of hot days. Great kitchen setup and the outdoor grill looked brand new. The only downside was that the hot tub was not clean and usable. We had a wonderful time and definitely would stay again!

Thank you for staying with us and for the kind words about the home. We’re so glad you had a wonderful time and would stay again. I’m sorry to hear your concern about the hot tub. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, especially with the hot tub. It is cleaned, treated, and checked before every guest arrival, and we document each turnover as part of our cleaning process. Since this was not brought to our attention during the stay, we did not have the opportunity to inspect or correct anything in real time, but we are reviewing it carefully with our cleaning team. We truly appreciate your feedback and would be happy to host you again.

“Modern cabin” is a great way to describe this house! It is very well appointed yet has that cozy country vibe at the same time. Although the house is not huge, it was perfect for us and they definitely made efficient use of all the space. We especially enjoyed cooking dinners in the lovely kitchen, playing Pac-Man, trying out some of the many games they supplied and hanging out, listening to the birds on the back porch in the morning. The host was very responsive and gracious in all our interactions.I would definitely stay here again when enjoying the Hocking Hills area! You will not be disappointed if you decide to book Kettle Ridge.

Peggy, this truly means a lot. We put a lot of intention into creating a space that feels both elevated and comfortable, so hearing that it came through in your stay is incredibly rewarding. I especially appreciate you calling out the little moments like cooking in the kitchen, enjoying the games, and relaxing on the back porch. That’s exactly the experience we hope every guest has. Thank you again for taking the time to share this and for being such a wonderful guest. You’re welcome back anytime.

We created Kettle Ridge as a place where people could truly slow down and enjoy being together. We both love spending time in Hocking Hills and were drawn to the quiet, wooded setting, the hiking trails, and the sense of stepping away from everyday routines. When we designed this cabin, our goal was to create a space that feels comfortable, thoughtful, and easy to enjoy from the moment you arrive.

We enjoy hosting because we care deeply about the experience guests have while staying here. From the layout of the cabin to the amenities we chose, everything was selected with comfort, functionality, and relaxation in mind. Whether you are cooking together in the kitchen, unwinding in the hot tub, playing games in the lounge, or sitting by the fire in the evening, we want Kettle Ridge to feel like a place you can settle into and make your own for a few days.

We take pride in keeping the cabin clean, well maintained, and fully equipped so you can focus on your time away rather than logistics. We are responsive and available if questions come up, and we are always happy to share local recommendations or tips to help you make the most of your stay. Our goal is for guests to leave feeling rested, comfortable, and glad they chose Kettle Ridge.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this location because it offers the best of Hocking Hills: peaceful wooded surroundings paired with easy access to the area’s most popular attractions. The cabin is tucked into a quiet, natural setting where you can enjoy privacy, fresh air, and the sounds of the woods, yet you are only minutes from well known hiking trails, state parks, caves, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks.

What we enjoy most about the neighborhood is the sense of calm it provides. It feels removed and restorative without being remote or inconvenient. Mornings are quiet, evenings are dark and peaceful, and the setting makes it easy to unwind whether you are sitting on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, or gathering around the fire pit.

The area is ideal for guests who want to explore during the day and return to a comfortable, quiet place at night. It is well suited for couples, families, and small groups who value nature, privacy, and a relaxed pace. This balance of seclusion and accessibility is what makes the neighborhood special and why we chose it for Kettle Ridge.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Kettle Ridge stands out because it was designed to be both comfortable and flexible, rather than simply decorated to look nice in photos. The layout is ideal for couples, families, or small groups, with two private king suites and a bonus game lounge that also functions as a private sleeping space when needed. This allows guests to enjoy shared time together while still having room to retreat and relax.

The cabin is also equipped to be enjoyed in every season. Guests can soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, grill on the deck, or relax indoors by the fireplace on two electric reclining sofas. The fully equipped chef’s kitchen supports real cooking and group meals, which is something many rentals lack.

Another feature that sets the property apart is the focus on comfort and practicality. A tankless water heater provides continuous hot water, the bathroom includes both a tub and a walk in shower along with a bidet, and hotel quality bedding and plush towels are provided for every stay. The game lounge includes shuffleboard, a retro gaming table, board games, and outdoor cornhole, making the cabin enjoyable even on rainy days.

Finally, the location offers a rare balance of privacy and convenience. The cabin is tucked into a quiet wooded setting, yet it is just minutes from the best hiking trails and attractions in Hocking Hills. This combination of thoughtful design, comfort, and location is what makes Kettle Ridge unique.
