Ideally situated on the quiet side of St. John, Casa Amor Villa is a comfortable and well-appointed home with breathtaking views of Coral Bay and the British Virgin Islands. The villa features solar power backup, a private salt water pool, expansive outdoor areas, outdoor BBQ/cooking area and all of the amenities to experience a wonderful vacation. The Villa boasts a fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of cookware for making meals during quiet nights in. The great room offers a large couch, comfortable large chairs and a smart television for watching your favorite shows after a long day at the beach. Perfectly suited for couples, small families or a group of friends, the villa offers a bedroom on the main level of the house, and an additional bedroom on the lower level by the pool.

The primary bedroom on the main level of the house features a King-sized bed, air conditioning, closets, ensuite bathroom with double vanity and large indoor and outdoor showers.

The second bedroom, which is accessible via exterior steps, offers a King-sized bed (that can be converted to two Twin XL-sized beds), closet, smart TV and air conditioning. A second full bathroom with large vanity and shower serves the lower level bedroom and pool deck (please note that nightly rates are based on double occupancy and access to lower bedroom is provided only to parties booking for 3 or 4 total guests.).

The oversized pool deck beckons guests with expansive views and the opportunity to float the day away in the pool, sip cocktails while relaxing in one of the lounge chairs or experience the peaceful sunrise while sipping coffee with your toes in the water.

The Villa also provides guests with a variety of beach gear, including: beach chairs, beach towels and coolers with ice packs. We recommend renting snorkel gear and fins from either Beach Bum in Cruz Bay or Crabby's Watersports in Coral Bay.

The location of Casa Amor offers convenience, without compromising tranquility. A 5 minute drive down the mountain leads you to the town of Coral Bay, with various restaurants (many with live music numerous days a week), a grocery store, mini mart and shops. It's a 10-15 minute drive to nearby beaches and hiking trail favorites including Coral Reef Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Bordeaux Mountain, Lameshur, Brown Bay, Trunk Bay and Maho Bay. Venture to Cruz Bay in less than 30 mins. via North Shore Road for happy hour drinks with a sunset view, or dinner at one of the many restaurants specializing in local caught seafood.

The North Shore (Route 20), where the vast majority of the beaches are located, is only a 15 minute drive. Additional trails, ruins, and a variety of watersports options, including kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, can also be enjoyed on the North Shore.
Please note that we have one NEST camera in the driveway/parking area. This camera records movement, but not sound.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Beautiful accommodations with a view that can’t be beat. We enjoyed the pool, albeit a bit chilly in December, on lazy afternoons when we didn’t feel like navigating the windy roads. Great pool deck for reading and relaxing. Loved the well stocked kitchen (probably the best we’ve seen as far as pots/pans/utensils/pantry items, etc), as we prefer to cook - the large kitchen was actually a deciding factor for renting this home. There were also a ton of books, movies, and games to keep us entertained (my husband really enjoyed the guide/history book of St. John). We also really appreciated the laundry and used it a few times. Great communication from the property manager, who sent us a ton of useful information ahead of arrival, including a video of how to navigate to the home. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 4 had an amazing time at Casa amor! First time staying over in the coral bay area, and it was so nice. The house had everything we needed, the views were great, and we fully enjoyed our stay. Emily was very responsive. We for sure would stay here again!

Fabulous View

Coral Bay is the quiet side of the island but it is also the low keyed friendly side. Casa Amor is a wonderful spot to enjoy this area. It is very well appointed, clean, with a fabulous view of Coral Bay.We enjoyed uncrowded beaches andsnorkeling.

Home away from home

We couldn’t have picked a better home to stay. Very tastefully decorated. Everything thing you need, kitchen was fully equipped, comfortable all the way around. The views are stunning, and beautiful sunrises, great to sit and watch after a swim or just sit and read a book. Emily and Jason were great, thank you so much for a great and relaxing vacation

Lovely and private hillside retreat

We’ve stayed in Coral Bay during prior STJ visits and love the quiet side of the Island. Casa Amor exceeded our expectations with view and setting, classy interior, comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen and fabulous pool! We have managed our own Vrbo so appreciate the excellent attention to detail with the home, and the management. Great job, Jason and Emily! We plan to visit again!

A view to remember…

A beautiful home with an extraordinary view. The bed was comfy, the towels were quite lovely and fluffy, the decor, very upscale, and the house was filled with a basics. I am so going to miss that outdoor shower! I will not, however, miss the roads of Saint John. Lol

Wonderful Stay in St John

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Amor in the week after Christmas. I have stayed in many VRBO properties and this may be the best. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you need for a terrific week. The porch and view are outstanding. I cannot recommend it enough. Be sure to check out Hansen Beach -it is a lovely spot - very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect vacation

We were very happy we chose Casa Amor Villa to spend our vacation. It looked just like the pictures. Villa was very clean and location was great. Emily was very quick to respond to our messages.Video she sent of how to get to the Villa was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Anniversary at Casa Amor

I don’t have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to properly review Casa Amor. It was perfection for us! Clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and pillows, excellent kitchen and knives, lots of beach gear and towels, the pool is amazing, the house is pretty, the views are stupendous, .the house manual is full of important information, etc etc etc. we are already planning our return!

Amazing views

From the living room to the bedrooms and porch there were amazing views of Coral Bay; even the shower had a view! The kitchen was fully equipped (except for an ice cream scooper), and the house was so very comfortable. The pool was definitely a perk after a full day at the beaches around the island. We would definitely go back!

Casa Amor hugs the cliff above Coral Bay, providing extraordinary views. It is not a large property, but efficiently designed with maximum use of space. Wonderful kitchen and nicely appointed in virtually every way. Exhilarating Drive to the view.

Lovely Stay, gorgeous location!

We had such a wonderful visit for our 15 year anniversary trip! We cannot wait to come back! The location and view was honestly perfect and the amenities couldn’t be beat! We had everything we needed and it felt like home! We are so grateful for such a wonderful, memorable trip made even better by the beautiful home we stayed in! The property manager, Emily, was amazingly communicative and she was committed to ensuring we enjoyed our stay! We will 100 percent be back!

Amazing view

Casa Amor did not disappoint! The view of Coral Bay is spectacular. The house is beautifully decorated and the amenities superb! The owner has gone above and beyond in thinking of every thing you would need and everything was in great working order and on the high end. The location was fantastic. We could hear music from Coral Bay in the evenings from the patio. The house felt very secluded and private. We would definitely stay here again.

Casa amor was lovely!

The property manager had such great communication with us the whole time and answered promptly with any messages we sent. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the things you need! It was nice to have a washer / dryer. Pack less:) the view was great and we enjoyed that side of the island. Driving the hills took some getting used to but it was worth the view.

Extraordinary

This home far exceeded our expectations! The views of Coral Bay from the back deck and pool were awesome, as was the cooling breeze. The home was so well stocked - it has everything you could need. The road to the house is a little sketchy so if you are a nervous driver just be aware of that. The host Emily was super responsive and helpful. We did not want to leave and would love to stay here again!

Beautiful Home!

The house is so nice and comfortable! One of the best equipped kitchens we have ever encountered. The only negative for us was the treacherous roads. If you are not a VERY confident driver this is not a house for you. We had made some dinner plans in Cruz Bay which we unfortunately cancelled as the idea of driving at night was terrifying. Very steep and narrow roads, tight curves and wild goats, donkeys and deer everywhere. . It also meant absolutely no alcohol for the driver so we ate all our dinners in. Otherwise the house is perfect.

Amazing spot!

We stayed here for a week, just 2 of us which was perfect with the main bedroom on the top floor with the kitchen, etc. The views from here are stunning looking southeast across Coral Bay. It had everything that you could need for cooking, if you wanted, though we ate out most of the evenings.The week we were there it was unusually windy, so it was a bit too cool in the late afternoons to enjoy the pool much, but it’s a really cute and well maintained plunge pool. The trade winds do a really nice job keeping the bugs at bay, and we barely needed the air conditioning- the house is really well designed to allow for great airflow with fans and screens. It’s convenient to both the north shore beaches and heading south towards salt pond, etc. The nice flat parking area with room to turn around was also much appreciated. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful view and lovely breezes

The house has a very relaxing modern island vibe to it. My husband and I had more than enough room to spread out and the kitchen island is enormous!! The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved having the AC on at night but then opening toe doors in the morning and feeling the warm breeze coming off the ocean. We’d sit on the patio in the morning with our coffee and just watch the boats in Coral Bay. The outdoor shower is fantastic too! How often do you get to take a shower after a day of snorkeling and hiking or just hanging out at the beach and see the gorgeous blue and turquoise water?? This was the best VRBO we’ve stayed at on STJ and we’ll be going back again.

A Very Happy Place!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Amor for so many reasons. It has a wonderful, laid back vibe and is decorated in good taste. The house is immaculate and well equipped. There is an outdoor kitchen as well as a gourmet kitchen inside. We enjoy cooking and found it easy to work in and clean up in a jiffy. It's the perfect, private place to just hang out. The pool is situated so that one can have a view of the bay while doing kicks in the water. The outdoor shower gets kudos for it's excellent design. Be sure to bring strong sunscreen (making sure that it's the kind that does not have chemicals that might damage the amazing coral reef if you plan to hang at the beaches.)The house has strong sun but the continuous breeze makes it feel wonderful. We thank our hostess Emily for helping us with quick answers to our questions and making our time there joyful.
