We absolutely loved our experience in St. John! The property was perfect for walking everywhere and had ample space for two adults and two teenage boys. Very clean unit! The only bummer was that they were remodeling the fitness area at the time but things like that happen so it was okay! In would definitely recommend this unit and the owner was great to work with!

Great view overlooking Cruz Bay. PH views were amazing. Was great to sit back and enjoy coffee every morning. Unit was clean, and a Parking spot for our Jeep. Grande Bay staff was wonderful as ever. Only challenge was there is only one Bathroom, but we were aware prior to booking. We love Grande Bay and thank you for having us.

Several issues

Upon arrival the A/C was pouring water as you entered. It was late so nothing could be done. The TV in the bedroom never worked- management was informed and could not fix the problem. The view was nice

A Nice Place

We enjoyed our stay at Love City and had a wonderful vacation. The positives are very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, beach chairs, etc. I was glad that one review had mentioned the size of the condo. The pictures are, in fact, very accurate so just be sure to take another look. This condo is very small so there isn't a lot of space to spread out in. Although, you don't spend much time there, we had to get creative as to where to store our suitcases, etc. This was great for our family of 4 but I would have struggled a bit with another couple as the living space has limited seating. The location is perfect. Check in was easy but we paid 100 to have someone meet us at the ferry. Now having been there, we wouldn't do that again because we know the area. However, for our first time, I would have found it a bit confusing and off putting to navigate the busy and tight streets after a long day of travel.

Great Location

We stayed at the Love City Penthouse with another couple and loved it. Location can't be beat as it is an easy walk along the beach front to the ferry and the rest of Cruz Bay. The unit came with a parking spot for our Jeep so easy in/out. The owner thoughtfully left us 3 bags of ice, which was great as we had forgotten Ice in our provisions. They had 4 nice beach chairs and a good size cooler to trips to the beach. The view from the top floor is spectacular. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Great property

We stayed in the unit for one week with my 9 and 11 year old. There was plenty of space for a family of 4. We didn't spend a ton of time in the unit as we were at the beach or on excursions during most of the day, but it was nice to relax with the view each evening. We loved the location - super easy to walk into town for dinner each night. Kids liked taking a dip in the pool each day. We would definitely stay again!

Christmas trip

We decided to take a family trip instead of giving gifts this year, and this property really helped us to enjoy the season. It was clean, well stocked and a fabulous location. We especially appreciated the parking spot for our jeep rental and having a washer/dryer onsite. Everyone was very friendly at the front desk. The balcony was our favorite spot to sit for breakfast and relaxing after dinner. Definitely hoping to have the chance to return one day soon!!

Great Location. Cynthia at Front Desk is Awesome!

The unit is adequate with 2 king beds in 2 tight bedrooms. Unit needs some updating. Quality of bath towels was very bad. For what we paid for the unit, I would expect very nice bath towels. Some other issues with door locks, etc that need repair. Unit just needs updating. Fantastic location though and an assigned parking space which is huge on St John.

Nice Villa. Best for a couple or couple with small kids.

Villa was comfortable and easily accessible to nearby restaurants and shopping. Villa was fully stocked with essentials (beach chairs, towels, cooler, pool noodles, laundry detergent, dish soap). Property management met us at the ferry dock and drove us to the unit and ensured we had everything we needed. This is so helpful after a long day of travel. The only negative is the seating in the living room is very limited making it difficult for more than 2 people to rest comfortably. Removing the chair and replacing with a small love seat and replacing large coffee table for a smaller one with a foot ottoman would allow for more seating. Furniture is outdoor style so not very comfortable. Overall, we had a nice experience as we spent limited time in the villa. Sleeping was great. Beds were comfortable and AC worked great.

Great honeymoon

We came down to get married at Trunk Bay. We were so happy with our place. It was so very easy to walk around Cruz Bay. The balcony had an amazing view. The beds were so very comfortable ash’s the bathroom size was perfect! We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful overall experience!

The unit itself was perfect and as advertised. It is a great size and a rare two bedroom which is nice. The views are second to none. Grande Bay itself is so conscience to Cruz Bay and makes it easy to really get around even if you decide to not rent a car. Working with the owner and management company was easy as always and we would highly recommend staying there!

Great location!

There were 4 people in our group. We stayed in the penthouse which had a beautiful view of the harbor. The condo had 2 bedrooms and had a large deck, which we used frequently. We were within walking distance to multiple restaurants and across the street from the beach. The management company was very responsive to any questions that we had regarding the condo, restaurants, car rentals and anything else that we needed to know about STJ. Great location! We would definitely stay at the Grand Bay again!

Great location and view

There were four of us traveling on a girls trip. The location was great. Close to the ferry and downtown Cruz Bay. Views from our balcony were great. The house was well stocked with beach chairs and household items. We had a great time.

Beautiful Condo and Location!

My husband I stayed here for 5 nights in January with our two little ones (7 and 5). The concierge service was perfect and helpful and met us right at the ferry dock, and escorted us to the property, which was super helpful after a long travel day. We also leveraged Landlubbers to have our condo stocked up, and that recommendation was great. It was a perfect condo for us. The kids shared a room, the bed was nice a large enough for them to do so. The amenities for the beach were very helpful! The kitchen was a little smaller than expected, however it wasn't a deal breaker, since we spent much of our time exploring St. John, and also on the amazing balcony that over looked beautiful Cruz Bay. The pool is also very nice and maintained, which we enjoyed after coming back from the beaches. The location is ideal for walking to breakfast, and dinners especially at night with the little ones. So many options, so close by. The host and concierge service were so helpful, responsive and the Grande Bay folks were so friendly and nice! Wonderful unit for a family. We would certainly book this listing again Thanks Pam!

Condo at St. John

Super location! Walking distance to restaurants, shops and grocery. Condo was just the right size with a beautiful view. Was nice to have the beach chairs (and football :)). Management team was very helpful. Would def stay again!

Wonderful vacation!

Perfect location for our St. John vacation. Easy check-in, clean and the view is spectacular! The pool was refreshing after spending the day at the beach. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

Great place perfect location

What a great place the location really is near everything, saves alot on taxis. Other people we met talked about how much they had to spend on taxis every day . Also the condo had a backpack cooler ,folding chairs ,swim noodles, and beach towels. They have an ice machine on property. And nice cold air-conditioning. So you dont need to drag much from home they have you covered. Lastly they do have a coffee machine but bring your own coffee.

Perfect St John’s Stay

We had the most wonderful stay in St John at the Love City Penthouse. The location at Grande Bay is perfectly situated to Cruz Bay for walking to shopping or eating. The farthest walk was maybe 10 minutes. The pool and hot tub were great after a day at the beach. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. St. Crandall picked us up from the ferry which work out perfectly because it was raining. The penthouse balcony was great for breakfast and after dinner drinks when our kids were asleep! The parking spot is key if you are getting a rental (recommended). Can’t say enough. We will be back!

We bought this property to continue bringing ourselves, our kids, friends and family to the island. We love the USVIs and BVIs...it has always felt like home to us. We cannot say enough about not only the beauty and serenity St. John oozes, but of the FUN that we have. The people are as beautiful as the views, and, we rent our property with the motivation to bring you, your family, and friends that same love and fun.

We would argue that some of the best views in Grande Bay are from the upper left units in building 4. These units provide unobstructed views clear from any power lines and provide panoramic views of both St. Thomas and Cruz Bay. The balcony is awesome and we would say this unit is the one of the best places to take in the view :)
