Relax in the private backyard with a peek of the ocean, or stroll 5 minutes to your shared, private beach. Just 1 mile from Acadia’s Seawall & just 5 minutes from town center for dining & shopping, as well as a short drive to Bar Harbor. Our home is the perfect base for exploring Mount Desert Island and creating lasting seaside memories.

The property and the stay were wonderful! There is plenty of space for a family to enjoy time together but also to have one’s own space. The house is beautiful decorated, comfortable, and impeccably clean- the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! Everything you need is there, and it is evident that all the details were carefully considered. The hosts were pleasant, friendly, and responsive. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The property was well-appointed with new cookware and a grill. The backyard was very nice and included a chiminea and wood. The off-road path to the stony beach could use some attention. Overall, it was a great place in a quiet location.

Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed the quiet location, backyard, beach access, and the updates we've made to the property, including the new cookware and grill. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the path to the stony beach. After your stay, we tended to the path and cleared it up, and my husband immediately repaired the boards on the boardwalk to make the walk to the beach safer and more enjoyable for future guests. This home was perfect! Just bring yourselves and enjoy! House had everything you might need, fun toys for the kids, extra toiletries if you forgot something, not to mention the cutest decor. We truly enjoyed our stay with our family (2 kids, 5 adults). The walk to the private beach was icing on the cake. We would absolutely recommend it! It was convenient to the National park and close enough to Bar Harbor for shopping and restaurants. Plus plenty of great places to check out close by as well.
