This is such an impressive house in every way. The layout is brilliant for a large family gathering - bedrooms on the end of side wings create three-sided views with a sense of isolation, with diverse layouts suited to different family compositions. A long central floorplan creates diverse people zones paralleled by long aisles that keep guests flowing while offering everything from a busy kitchen counter to a cozy round kitchen table, then on to an epic reclaimed-wood dining table adjacent to a comfy sectional sofa bounded by cozy window seats with built-in bookshelves. Interior design is spot on, from objects clustered by color to reclaimed wood beams framing soft-but-sophisticated plastered walls and ceilings. Doors-for-days open to an expansive patio with on-trend seating, outdoor fire feature and modern high-desert landscaping viewing irrigated fields and rolling hills below. Incredibly well equipped kitchen with top-end appliances. My sister loved the guest house for her young family. Sonos throughout was a nice touch. Everything neatly labeled. Great communication.The host graciously enabled us to put on a small event as our family gathered after a sad moment to grieve, love and laugh together. The villa was optimally suited with it's mix of understated sophistication, classy chill and calm demeanor while ensuring everything was sorted. Perhaps a bit pricey all-in for the event but a unique experience otherwise unattainable in other contexts.Recommended.
