良かった点 : 清潔度、チェックイン、コミュニケーション、ロケーション
I'll start with the positive. The apartment is clean, well appointed, and in a great walkable neighborhood. However, having been a VRBO host myself, I have issues with how this place is advertised. The owner lists a pool, hot tub, and a grill as amenities, then later in the description states that many of their amenities are found off site. That's not an honest description. There is no pool, hot tub, or grill. The 'off site' location is in Virginia Beach and we were given no information about this place, how to access it, or if there would be an additional fee. We felt mislead.Also, there's a sign on the fridge stating if you use the bottled water you are to pay 1.50 per bottle, and that all items would be counted at the end of the stay. This felt like an insult. I have always left a few basics for my guests at my rental, and would never even dream of charging for a bottle of water! I know this is a business and the goal is to make money, but that's not where to do it. Making guests feel welcome and at home should be a top priority.Lastly, there was ONE roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We were three ladies staying for a week. In what world is two rolls of TP enough for a week? I did run into the on-site manager who introduced himself and asked if we needed anything, and thankfully he was able to open the locked cupboard and give us a few more rolls. As a host myself, I've always left a closet full of supplies and never had a problem with folks stealing.
