Peter was fantastic, he really made us feel welcome. He took the time to show us how everything worked and helped with the navigation of his beautiful city. I highly recommend staying at his apt. It is perfectly located for easy access to everything.

Great place and location.

Peter’s place is perfect for two people. The bed is very comfortable and surrounded by a Japanese style cabinet and paper shade set up that provides some privacy from the ‘dining/living area of the studio. The bath is modern and the kitchen while small has everything we needed. The expresso machine is great allowing for excellent coffee and it is easy to use. The location is great with a bus stop just steps away that leads right to central station in just 2 stops from where you can go almost anywhere in the Netherlands quickly. There is also lots of great shopping including an Albert Heijn grocery just one block away. My favorite thing was that it is such a short walk to the popular Jordaan area of Amsterdam and all of its great restaurants. Absolutely a wonderful stay, thanks so much Peter.

Apartment on Haarlemmer Huittinen

Cool place. The host's son (Jelle) was friendly and met us to hand over the keys and instruct us on the layout and amenities. Loved the Japanese theme design; accordingly, in line with that, good use of space. One of the best-equipped kitchens we have had in a VRBO rental. The location was great; we loved the neighborhood. It was close to good restaurants and museums. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Property is ideally located for explorations of both Amsterdam and Netherlands... We used as base for using train system to traveling to several surrounding small towns and cities in addition to Amsterdam explorations... Property design is awesome and unique with great amenities...

Perfect Accommodation in Amsterdam

We were so pleased to find Peter's lovely apartment in Amsterdam. It is conveniently located in a vibrant neighborhood on the bus line going directly to Centraal Station (5 minutes). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, well-decorated, and very safe. And no steps! It is located on the ground floor of a traditional Amsterdam canal house. We would highly recommend Peter's apartment for a single or couple. He is a most accommodating and charming host!

Super apartment in a great location

This apartment was modern, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet, and very functional. The location was excellent - close to Centraal Station, Ann Frank House, De Poezenboot etc. There was so much to do within walking distance, and transit was very accessible. It was outside of the really touristy area, but close enough that we could get there on foot. The host was very communicative and provided a thorough introduction to everything. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location! Great host!

Our host Peter met us for checkin and showed us the apartment and how everything worked. He left us fruit, juice, wine and tulips. The apartment was perfect for two and the location was perfect for walking to most areas of Amsterdam. The immediate neighborhood had restaurants, shopping, and laundry facilities available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment for two for anyone who would like to visit Amsterdam.

Friendly gracious hospitality

Peter is a gracious and helpful host. The apartment is at a great location, close to the Haarlemmerstraat and Brouwersgracht. It is very clean, quiet and safe. Laundromat is around the corner. We felt at home. Thank you Peter, we will rent your place again in the future.

Such an amazing stay!!

My fiance and I had stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it! The home was cosy and clean and even though it is right next to the train line and roads, we did not hear anything the entire stay. The host Peter, is a lovely lovely man who has everything waiting for you if you need it. Could not recommend this stay enough :)

A Wonderful Stay in Amsterdam

Our stay in Amsterdam was for a month. The apartment and neighborhood were perfect for our needs. We love to walk and roam, and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the neighborhood is so charming and delightful, but out of the crowded touristy section. The apartment has everything we needed except for a washing machine but there is a very efficient laundry right around the corner. Peter is a wonderful host, so responsive to any reasonable request which made our stay very comfortable. What we really appreciated is how much he shared his love of Amsterdam, which enhanced our stay. Thank you so much!

Fabulous Location

Location was ideal for our stay in Amsterdam. Peter is gracious host and welcomed us to the condo and saw us off on our departure. The condo offered all essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Peter provided of plenty of local information (maps, transportation and dining) as well as a welcome gift of fresh fruits, fresh flowers and wine. There is a laundromat just around the corner which was convenient for us. The only issues for us was the bed which was much firmer than we’re used to, a shelf or rack in the shower would’ve been nice and the thermostat settings in the unit. The weather in Amsterdam during our stay was unusually cold and temperature range we were told to use resulted in the condo being cold in the evening. That being said we would return to this condo during the Spring or Summer.

Wonderful stay
