Los Almendros is a gated community on the beach in Playa Ocotal. There is a guard that lets guests in and out of the property. The community has a large community pool with ocean views, loungers and covered table areas - just steps from the villa! There is plenty of shade along the beachfront and the ends of the beach have rocky reefs that offer good shore snorkeling options.  There is a small mini market and two great restaurants - Father Rooster (just down the beach) and Soluna Beach Bar at Bahia Pez Vela Resort (about a 6-minute drive - accessible by car only)

A 10-minute drive to the downtown of Playas del Coco gets you into the action. You can either rent a car or have our Vacation Specialists arrange for an airport shuttle. Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia, is just a 40-minute drive from the home. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops can be found in neighboring Playas del Coco. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk.  You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Enjoy the plethora of restaurants and activities in the area, then retire to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful vacation home.

Guests have private use of the villa and share the community pool with other guests and residents of the Los Almendros community.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa (1,500 sq ft) sits just 115m from Playa Ocotal, where ocean views and gentle breezes set the tone for a peaceful getaway. After a day at the beach or exploring all Costa Rica has to offer, come back to your own private retreat to unwind in total comfort.

The upper level features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with vaulted wood ceilings, stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove and dishwasher), and a 50" Smart TV. Step out to the ocean-view terrace — perfect for morning coffee, sunset watching, or enjoying the sea breezes. This level also includes a full bathroom, laundry area, dedicated workspace, and the primary bedroom. On the lower level, two comfy guest bedrooms share a full bathroom.
